Hey guys,

I’ve been toying around with this idea for a while and wanted to ask for some help/feedback.

A few months ago, after becoming a new father, I had trouble staying consistent with my bible reading. Although let’s be honest, it was already hard for me before then!

Then I had the brilliant obvious idea to combine a bible reading plan with the planner I was using to organize my day.

What would be different about this planner is that it’ll have assigned bible readings, space for reflection/prayer/thanksgiving, quarterly goal planning and task management. With space for weekly check ins and sermon notes along with your regular scheduling tools.

I had originally created a simple word document to use just for myself, but thought that maybe other people might find this helpful too.

Anyway, so I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in taking a look and giving me some feedback? Also if you want to tell me what you'd want to see in something like this.

Thanks in advance

JCHOY,

Here is the thing from my point of view. I am assigned to several functions here, one of them is doing things that are in the interest of this site and it's users.

I visited your link, and saw the PDF file, of what you have made. It looks pretty well thought out and executed, and that may well be a useful product for some of our users, but here are my concerns.

First, I see that you are new here, and perhaps not really interested in being part of our community, I cannot help but wonder, if you are nor heare mainly to try to tap us as a potential market. We are not here to be a place for free advertising. not market research really, we are a ministry. If we let such things occur here, then in no time, we will be overrun with people looking for free exposure. While you are not offering fake knockoff watched, or discount Viagra, it could still be a form of spam, never-the less.

You do not state whether you intend to make this planner, as a giveaway, of as a product offered for sale.

You PDF file, is watermarked with a website, that essentially turns it into a marketing tool.

Going to the website indicated in the PDF file, I observe that you have set it up, primarily as a way to gather names and email addresses. As one who tries to look out for the welfare of our members, I do not think it is a good idea that I should let someone gather that sort of information using our site as a means to mine or site for potential customers or even users of what you are developing.

However, I am not making this decision, I am leaving this to the site steward to  see what he wants to do or not do, but for now, I have disabled your link, until that decision as made one way or the other.

I do hope, never-the=less, that your planner is a success, and I say "Welcome to Worthy"
