12 minutes ago, Who me said:

Is it a small thing to reject Gods laws, to live without any regard for God, or is it a large thing?

yeah, it's sin.

But my point is, if you just present the hell the "good" news stops being good.

Jesus both healed the lame, the blind, and many more people and, later, he talked about hell.

Some people here just present the hell; there's no balance.

I agree. That is what the parables do.

Lazarus simply means "the one that God helps".

And no, there is no "rule" that if a person in a parable is "named", or he is called "a certain" that it is not a parable. Sometimes people mince words way too much. It's discussed in my tag line.

Heb 10:30-31

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
KJV

when the devil came and brought scripture to Jesus, it wasn't balanced, in my opinion, see Matthew beginning chapter 4.

So please, present the scriptures in a balanced way.

You are arguing against a hermeneutic process which is designed to allow God to speak for Himself through His Word... Parables are always unspecific to determined specifics when a naming is used it has bypassed the unspecific and went to account of specific...

The Scriptures are already presented and Christ used Scripture to show satan's use as twisted and of personal deployment...

I've been brief in my responses. There are very detailed discussions already available. No need to re-invent the wheel:

https://wake-up.org/bible-characters/rich-man-lazarus.html

https://www.tentmaker.org/articles/Lazarus-byHuie.htm

https://nakedbiblepodcast.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/NB-189-Transcript.pdf

I simply do not believe the parable was told to give the slightest window into heaven and hell other than to point out who was blessed and who was not.
