As a friend once put it about me- He said" You are socially unconscious." He meant it as a insult, but I took it as a good think for me to be. I was always way too busy to know what so called celebs were about, or what was trending. Just never cared for anything but working to support my own family. As to Little Richard. He declared himself to have had a change, then he seemed to fall away from it. Didn't influence me one way or another. But I did know his early on music, including Hey Hey Hey Hey recorded in 1956. A Christian of highest status is the least among all of the others. To be a celebrity Christian is an odd term, and yes it does seem to defy the teaching from deity. Christians are not to worship even angels. So to lift up a so called ceeb ?, Nah! Let them have their faith and do in the name of Christ quietly without glory to themselves so that their reward may be saved up for them too. He places men where He wants them---some in prison to be tortured, and some in Hollywood who make Christian movies that are genuine believers in Christ. A celebrity is simply "A widely known person." Tim Tebow is known all over the world, a celebrity---a athlete who is also a man of God. Franklin Graham is another who does not bring glory to himself. "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers..." Well known maybe even famous with in a small circle of Christinity, but not celebritor-ial objects. From Webster's celebrity noun Save Word To save this word, you'll need to log in. Why did you put words in my mouth? Did I mention all men? Did I say all celebrities are saved? But let me add that men who profess Christ are all at different places along their journeys. BTW, God does not save a man according his behavior: King David committed adultery and then became a murderer to cover it up; Moses killed a man; Jacob was a liar, a thief, and a cheat. Yet David was a man after God's own heart, God spoke to Moses as with a friend face to face, and Jacob was given the name Israel after the nation, who wrestled with the Angel of the Lord, and won. So if that is what you wish to believe about God, you believe it. And if it makes you feel good being right, be right. As for me, God chooses who He will---by His incredible grace.
