The Creator became a creature.
The Eternal One entered space and time.
Almighty God became a newborn baby.

Wise men, priests, came bearing precious gifts

Humblest of men came in from the fields in awe

Evil men denied Him but also feared.

Amen, Isaiah 9:6-7 King James Version (KJV) 6  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

For many years I was anti Christmas because I knew it had pagan roots. But except for the Jewish holidays all holidays have pagan roots. Nowadays I love Christmas and let me tell you why. This is the one time of the year when even mean, grumpy people soften up. It's too bad we can't have the Christmas attitudes all year long.
