I believe the goal of the Muslim nations is to capture Jerusalem .They are fine with destroying all the rest of Israel and killing all jews but they want Jerusalem mainly for the dome of the rock.

Of course it gets nuked by the armed forces of the north after they have liberated Jerusalem but they achieve their goal for a few days.

I am amazed when I look at a map of Israel and see Jerusalem essentially sandwiched between the Gaza strip and the West Bank.

Something more than courage is required to live there---seems to me.
