View the full article Looked up USGS site and the quake was near the surface.. This is a very powerful earthquake.. I hope it has not triggered a large tsunami.. Glad no tsunami was created.. I only found out about this by reading this thread.. I am amazed such a powerful and shallow earthquake did not cause big damage on the nearby islands..
