strange dreams

i have been a stuggling christian since sept. 11 2004.i am only 16 but at times i can feel so strongly connected 2 God and other times like he wont listen wheni pray.i have been having strange dreams about my school.they are mostly about the struggle between God and satan .the most vivid one is about "the raptue" and im scared to death that it may come true.it basically consist of of people ascending into heaven at my school while many are left behind.i at some point am chased by a man who had some glaring in his eyes.i dont know what happens because then i wake up.i would like some help or suggestions as to if you think this dream can come true because sometimes they do.this may just be my imagination or it could be serious so i would like your prayers to help me understand these dreams plz.

I had these type of dreams alot in the first year or so that I was saved. One bad one was that a "being" was at my window tapping...I seen that the sky was red and huge clouds were rolling on the ground...I got excited and yelled for my family that Jesus had come for us...and I got close to the window to tell this "being" we were coming..well all of sudden its eyes turned bright red..and I refused to go out...I kept yelling its a lie..its a lie.

They are scarey sometimes but I really think it was me worrying about if I will be good enough to be found worthy...I still worry about that one by the way.

Everynight before you go to sleep pray and then read Psalm 91...it was a great comfort to me and the nightmares stopped.

thank u alot,but they dont seem like nightmares,more like possiblities.my school is going through a very troubling time and i think they my dreams may be warnings.they are so vivid and clear.i will try your suggestion though.thank you

Be alert when at school...pray for guidence and be willing to listen.

Mona,

I would take your dreams as a warning from God that his coming is near and there are many who are not going to make it to heaven, because they don't believe in Jesus. The man who is chasing you is most likely Satan or the Antichrist, and his goal is to frighten you. It is also a warning that we are in a spiritual battle today unlike any we have ever faced before.

These are the last days, and as such, the battle will get more fierce. Satan does not want us to care about the lost, so he would be after you in your dreams if in your dreams you are obviously seeing a picture of some people going to heaven and some being left behind, but remember, they are not merely just "left behind." They are doomed to hell unless they believe in Jesus as their Savior and Lord. So, Satan would be in the dream, because he would have those who are "left behind." He is going to try to take as many down with him as possible, because he knows he is doomed.

So, I would begin praying and asking God what he wants you to do with these dreams. I think the obvious first thing would be to talk to all your friends and family members about their relationships with Jesus Christ. Tell them that Jesus is coming back soon. Tell them that Jesus is the way to heaven, to salvation, to hope, to healing, to peace, to life everlasting - which begins the moment you receive HIM as your Savior. Tell them that he died to save them from their sins - not just the penalty of sin, but from bondage to sinful lifestyles. He came to set us FREE from all those chains that bind us!! He gives us hope for a future. He is our mother and our father and our best friend and he is our husband and we are his bride and he wants so much to have a loving relationship with us that is so awesome and so intimate and so real. He gives us a reason for existing. He created each and every one of us for a purpose. He has a plan for our lives. We all so desperately need him!! And, we need to be telling others about him, because He is coming soon!!

thank u so much.i have dreams in different variations about my school alot .i am convinced about the prescence of demonic forces present in my school and i have seen many things that cause me to hold this belief.i have no one 2 talk 2 about it now that it is summer because the only connection i have 2 the church is my schools student christian movement and since school is closed i am basically alone so please pray for me to stay strong.i have slipped out of the light i few times so i really need help 2 stay strong so i ask you 2 pray for me in jesus name.thank u for your help

Do you have access to a library? There is a book I would recommend if you can find it. It is called "The Bondage Breaker." This is an excellent book on spiritual warfare and on conquering the "demons" in our lives. I think it would help you a lot.
