The above scripture about the return of the Lord has nothing to do with encountering the Lord in the secret place. Are you sure that it was God speaking to you ? when it's him, it does not contradict his word. I would be careful if I was you. When you are not well grounded in the word, one can easily get deceived since Satan can be transformed as an angel of light. The scripture that @Walter and Deborah has quoted relates to the second coming. He is coming with clouds of glory and every eye will see him ( Revelation 1 ). Have you ever done a study on clouds? It's the transportation of the divine. FALL on face.. cry worship... then hug and NEVER EVER EVER ..thats EVER LET GO of Him! haha.. But nope never face to face. I have to settle for Him living in me, with me and the sweet sweet holy Spirit. Christs RETURN! I wanna go home.. but not my will be done His.. that is.. as long as He wants to go on so as to save this world... to see Christ know Christ..
