Paul said that in his flesh dwells no good thing.  I believe that the flesh doesn not mean morals at all.  We are told not to fulfill the lusts of the flesh.  We can walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  What is the problem with that Biblical reasoning???  Please be patient with me as I am with you.  God bless.

p.s. lets show some fruits of the Spirit here people.  Remember...I believe that Jesus is God too.  He never sinned.  He was perfect.  We have the essentials in common.  Let's iron out the wrinkles together.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The problem is that it's gnostic and makes God evil, thus destroying any reason for the basics.

Bring up the scriptures you're talking about with refrences to them. Let's end this heresy right here.

Tess, your wording could use a little bit more love and patience.  I am a true believer in Jesus and I believe in His full Deity and Manhood as you do.  Perhaps I am confused over this "sin nature" issue and if I am I want to be corrected.  I do not stand in error over any Biblical topic on purpose.  My desire is to be fully in harmony with the Word of God in all aspects.  I do not believe that because Jesus had a sin nature in the FLESH means that He had a sinful SPIRIT.  How can you possibly make that corelation using Scripture.  We, as Christians, are told to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  The two are SEPARATE.  Seek and ye shall find.  God bless.

p.s. I once UNWITTINGLY believed that Jesus somehow died spiritually, which I now reject.  God led me to the truth concerning that issue.  I will do the same in this instance if I believe the Holy Spirit bears me witness to do so.  however, I fully am convicted that Jesus had a body just like you and I...THAT'S LOVE.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You said you "rebuked" anyone who called this heresy...and yet my words lack patience and love? If you're truly seeking the truth, you've found it here...in the last few responses. Love isn't patiently allowing someone to promote lies. Love is correcting someone when they are blatantly wrong. You should be thankful that people here have been willing to be straigtforward and show you your errors.

how do you say that if flesh is evil God is evil. Please show Scriptural support. And please don't insult me like that again by suggesting that I would in any way call God sinful. That is a serious charge and it deeply hurts my feelings. How would you like it if I made that accusation to you.

Where are the fruits of the Spirit here people?

I don't want to learn from people who are not godly.

You'd have to back it up.

I make the charge because your teachings are the following:

1) Jesus had a sin nature because He had flesh

2) All flesh is evil

3) Only the Spirit is perfect

4) Must leave the flesh and obtain the spiritual truths

These are the key components of the gnostic faith, which is heresy. Accuse me of whatever you want, I could care less. When John called gnostics "enemies of truth" and polycarp called them "First born of satan" I am not too worried by called your belief...which is the same as the gnostics...heresy.

Anyway, do you believe God made us? Do you believe that God made the flesh? If not, then you further the gnostic stereotype. If you do, then how can that which God made be evil?

I do rebuke anyone that accuses me of insulting my Saviour. That will never change. I do not put up with someone accusing me of purposefully holding satanic doctrines.

Do you or do you not believe that Jesus "became sin"??? If so, in what way, shape, or form, and WHEN???

Please answer the above for me from the Word.

God made the flesh, yes. Then flesh willingly fell through sin which entered the world by Adam and Eve. God made Lucifer, then lucifer fell through sin which entered his heart. God made the world, which now groans for redemption. God made the world a lot different from what it is today. He will redeem that someday. Right now, our spirits are redeemed through faith in Christ.

Sin changed Mans essence, from good to evil. Nature means the inherent character or basic constitution of a person or thing. The reason we were born with a sin nature is, that we are of our parent

Funny how you want to insist that everyone else use Scriptural support, yet you offer none of your own. You're the one making the accusation that Christ had a sin nature...the burden of proof is on you.

I will answer your question the same way that I answered the one earlier today, which was closed for good reason:

"The Lord Jesus was born without sin, and did not possess the fallen nature, as evidenced by the following verses: 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:5; 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:22. That the Lord often displayed human emotion in no way indicates that He partook of the fallen nature inherited from Adam.

A sinner is not made a sinner by virtue of his sins. He is constituted a sinner, having the fallen human nature inherited from Adam, and so commits the acts of sins (Which are offenses before God). The Bible is very clear on this matter."

The questioning of Christ's diety and divinty may be contended with for a time. However, to imply or state implicitly that the Lord Jesus possessed the fallen human nature from birth is heresy. The matter is clearly addressed in the Bible in the verses already given.

There is no point in belaboring the subject. This horse is dead.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
