At what point would you quit?

Briefly as I can be:

2 Peter 1:20–21 (AV)
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Bible (scriptures / Word of God) is entirely prophetic. Only the Holy Spirit can accurately interpret the scriptures (verse 21 details how he wrote the Bible).

John 20:31 (AV)
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

1 John 5:13 (AV)
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

The scriptures are the key. The Holy Spirit interpreted Word of God leads us to the Authentic Jesus and validates him.

John 14:26 (AV)
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26 (AV)
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

So, if your suicide plans to end your pain / improve your status or disposition are pressing,

you'd better get cracking at studying the Word of God to believe in the True Jesus first!!!

No dream or nightmare would, but what problems in this life?

 

I hope and pray I never have to face that choice. I know that what I call my life is not mine.

I belong to Jesus, he is my saviour and my Lord.

 

My Lord in that I am duty bound as all Christians are to obey him and self murder is forbidden by the ten commandments.

 

 

So I hope I am never in that situation.

Perhaps if the roof was on fire, I'd choose the ground as the lesser of two evils. Our dog once jumped off the porch roof onto some bushes below and came out all right.
