I have found that this peace is of s/Spirit and is dependent upon God's Word alone... in my flesh it disappears as my focus has turned to that which is dead and should be reckoned so. So as I eat The Word of God s/Spiritually I am strengthened and this peace is found in promises already given me... when one reckons themselves dead in the flesh and dead to this world the complaints and atrocities that come from them are made none effect by the Spirit within... who could not rejoice in a pain so severe yet knowing it ends and never shall be again... to overcome is to realize that which comes against us has already been overcome by Jesus... the rejoicing of the martyrs! Knowing the time's we are living in, witnessing and seeing the things which are prophetically coming on like birth-pangs, every one of them all at once. I'm spiritually blessed and at peace, knowing our Lord's return is very near. At my age, either by Rapture or Resurrection, I'll be with my Lord and Savior in the very near future. On the other hand, there's still two sides of me doing battle. The new man and the old carnal man. As a patriot, combat veteran and American; it makes me angry all the lives lost, family sacrifices and blood spilt, the blessings God bestowed on this country, as the greatest nation ever to exist on this planet. And this government squandering it all away in favor of a dictatorship, socialism and a New World Order. Our nation has completely turned its back on the Lord; and passed laws and enforced by SCOTUS, that are abominations to the Lord, and calling evil good and good evil. I believe we are now well past the point of: 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I truly believe half of America has been turned over to the lusts of their own flesh and a debased mind. Short of the providence of our Lord; I suspect a rapid escalation of end-time events and a severe judgment on our nation in the near future under this administration? It may not be long before they pass a law, then the Jack Boots come to my door. And I have to emphatically tell them, "out of my cold dead hands." The Lord ordained government, He sits and removes kings. We are to obey and submit to government, as it restricts evil. The old man side of me is fighting that under these circumstances and a government turned tyrannical and hostile toward righteousness and true Christianity.
