I wonder if Jesus was talking about a real mountain at all. But regardless I feel like I don't have faith others claim to have.

I think he was absolutely talking about a real mountain!

You're not alone in how you feel. Feelings are fickle. Acknowledge them but don't obsess. Focus on what you can control instead.

I don't think it's possible to compare my faith to others.  I don't know the depths of their faith or even my own.  I just know that Jesus loves me, and he is the only one who can see into the depth of hearts.  Whenever I interact with a strong Christian, I am drawn to them.  I don't compete with them.  We are on the same side, and we strengthen each other.

Thanks. What do you think about good works? Does God create them in us? Or is it something we do and God sits back observing?

I think that 'to believe' also means to publicly profess your faith. For example, by doing good deeds of your own free will. This does not contradict predestination in my opinion. Building faith is for the glory of God.

Amen I think Jesus loves me too. Thanks for the reply.

I cannot DO good works. But, I can abide in Him.
As I abide in Christ, He works through me. Not I but Christ.
However, I choose/chose to abide, as the branch that bares fruit.
The branch bares  (make visible) the fruit, produced by the vine.
Without the vine (Jesus) I can do nothing.
The good works are produced by Jesus, worked through me.
Any reward is because I chose to abide.
Much fruit pleases the Father. (the vine tender)
What I believe/understand........

I wonder if doing good works is partly how we abide in Christ

Either way I need to find my own ministry where I can help others

Not a teaching ministry but one that helps people

I think it’s both he creates them in us and he observes what we do.

Jesus could be talking about a real mountain but he does use symbolism often.
