Jesus spoke of a time when nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.  (Matthew 24:7)

  • Daniel chapter 11 describes major conflicts between east and west and then between north to south.

Jesus spoke of Christians being killed and persecuted.  (Matthew 24:9)

  • Daniel describes something similar. (Daniel 11:33)

Jesus spoke of the abomination of desolation.  (Matthew 24:15)

  • Daniel wrote about the abomination of desolation. (Daniel 11:31)

For those of you that believe that all of Daniel 11 will be fulfilled in the future, have you found any other parallels between what Jesus said about the end times and Daniel chapter 11?

The End Times portion of Daniel 11 starts with verse 40. Everything prior to that is in the far past, with the exception of verses 38-39, which are transitional.

See the following two blog posts for more details:

27. Antiochus Epiphanes and the End Times, Part 2: The Transition from the Past to the Present

Shows how the god-king Antiochus Epiphanes led the transition from the Greek Empire to the Roman Empire, and how the latter empireʼs posterity is found in modern Anglo-European governments.

28. Antiochus Epiphanes and the End Times, Part 3: The Prophetic Fulfillment

Shows how Daniel 11:40ʼs King of the North “in a time of an end” will commit comparable acts, and in the same sequence, as did Antiochus Epiphanes, therein fulfilling both Old and New Testament prophecies.

Good afternoon William, Antiochus runs from verse 21-33 maybe 34, I think 34 and 35 are transitional, its the rest of the 5000 years to Jesus AND the Church Age (unbeknownst to Daniel of course), then comes the End Time King inverse 36-45 and on into Dan 12:1-2 really. The verses in 36 and 37 only for the end tine Anti-Christ, we know Antiochus sacrificed unto Zeus, so he will have no gods doesn't fit Antiochus Epiphanes.

We get a Directional Box so to speak of these Four Generals Kingdoms, one so simple all one has to be able to do is point east, west, north or south to figure out the end time king clue, but we overthink it. If we slow down, we can see where the Anti-Christ comes from by this DIRECTIONAL BOX so to speak.

Dan. 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

God gave us a riddle so simple, yet we try way to hard, I know, I used to think it was complex also. The Battle Royal in Dan. 11 is all about the inter Greek battle among four different factions, so a simple DIRECTIOAL MAP and a simple CLUE (Dan. 8:9) reveals where the Anti-Christ comes to power at.

Seleucus(Turkey) can not conquer TOWARDS the East, Ptolomy(Egypt) can't conquer TOWARDS the South, but Cassander (Greece) can do both, and since Greece is in the E.U. he can also fulfill Dan. 7 and ARISE amongst the 10 (ALL of Divided Europe, better known as the Iron and Clay Feet, which only come together at the very end, thus the 10 toes on TWO FEET become one kingdom. Thus the Two-legs never meant anything, because the TWO FEET aren't divided, and the two arms were not divided, tat was someone's imagination.

Looking at the map it becomes simple, who can come out of the North West? Only someone born in Greece, thus b=now we understand we we get such a detailed rundown of all the Greek lineage up until Antiochus he was the TYPE Anti-Christ and he had a TYPE False Prophet under him in Jason, a Jewish High Priest.

A lot of people say hes a homosexual because he will not have a desire of woman, but they fail to understand, he has no REGARDS for the god of his fathers (I think he comes from Muslim stock but he's an Atheist) then he has NO REGARDS for ANY god, but in between it says nor THE DESIRE of women, but it means he has NO REGARD for what they DESIRE, but three REGARDS in one verse would have been monotonous, it was obvious the middle statemen has a silent regards also. Thus what it really means is he will not care to hear their OPINIONS or listen to them in any manner.
