I would like to point out, [everyone knows Polycarp was John's Disciple], but Polycarp was not born till 69 A.D.   So are you proposing Polycarp was john's Disciple at his birth?  Polycarp's own BIRTH [69] A.D. proves John taught him at least 10 maybe 20 years LATER than the year 69 A.D.   And John placed Polycarp as Bishop over the Church of Smyrnia in the first Century.   So, how is John in Patmos and dead before 70 A.D. but able to Disciple Polycarp born in 69 A.D.?

I dont listen to anything that is not scripture. I dont trust historical records either. They can be bias.

Good for you!

You're trusting Josephus who sold out his own people and became a traitor.   What's the difference?

Well you should trust Polycarp, he literally is our very own connection to the fact the Disciples of Christ were [real people] and not make belief.

Him and Papias were actual true blue eye witnesses.

I am merely pointing out if we're going to use a TRAITORS Version like Josephus events as history, then we should use the Disciples of John.    And the fact Polycarp was BORN when John was [SUPPOSEDLY] at Patmos until his DEATH, how is it possible he Discipled Polycarp born in 69 A.D.

It's virtually IMPOSSIBLE for John to have been in Patmost before 70 A.D. and DIED if he Discipled Polycarp born in 69 A.D.

Maybe we're now calling the Apostle John a [Baby Whisperer].   That's how he can be in Patmos while Polycarp is being born and Disciple him before his own death!
