I had no luck yesterday, morning, noontime, or night. It continued to stall on "Saving..." I was done about ready to face the fact that I had been blocked for some reason. A Twilight Zone experience. I have Windows 10 and fiber optic cable. I hadn't had a problem with anything anywhere expect trying to get a post to take. Let's see what happens with this one... ==================== Well, it took! Just for the record, 15 minutes ago it was the same ole same ole. Went out, came back in, and all seems well. It has been very inconsistent. Won't be able to try much again for a while, but anxious to see how everything is rolling later tonight. However, due to national security concerns and my gag order with NASA I can't say more. Well, thanks a lot for at least giving me the impression that you would help me if you could! Try deleting all cookies and shutting down the computer and restarting, but shut off all open programs first. If that doesn't work--try a different browser. I did all of that also, plus I had to change my theme at the bottom of the page. Once I did that it worked. Someone that I am friends with on the forums guided me in how to do it. I had cleared my cookies and cache last week, but no luck. Also last week, I tried a "Testing..." post from my Android (the first time I had ever tried a post from it), but again, no luck. I've had so many other things to do, I just decided to forego the Forum altogether for a week. So, I signed back in tonight and no luck. Same ole same ole. I cleared my cookies and cache again tonight and also did this through my virus protection (McAfee), which I had not done. Signed back in and still no gain. I was going to send Alive an email, with a reference to this thread, but I momentarily forgot the name of it. I came back out of the email form to double check the thread name and tried my "Testing..." post again (for good measure!), and it took!!! Why has this thing got so finicky??? I can't trust spending the time to work on a post, because I can't trust that it will save. With that, I'll see if this one does... ==================== I kind of figured that it would save this time. I think I'll sleep on it and check back in tomorrow...
