Guest Mr.E
Being that i'm a projectionist at a movie theater, i get to see a lot of movies if i want to (while on the clock i might add ). I never have seen Passion of the Christ though. Movies that moved me? 8-mile, Hustle and Flow, Cinderella Man are a few. However, i must say, most movies i watch move me only to repentance for having watched them, being that they are so filled with filth. Trying to cut back on pretty much......well everything, now. I haven't watched a movie in such a long time. I find there is not much out there anymore for Christians to watch.

I would add "Children of Dune," the Sci-Fi channel miniseries...for those who have seen it/read the books, during the third part of the story ("The Golden Path") when Paul and Leto II encounter eachother on the dune *sigh* that made me cry so hard. And after Chani gave birth...that whole thing with Duncan (though that is more powerful in the book) and the choice Paul faces and...okay, I'm gonna cry if I keep thinking about it. Anyway...it totally captured so much of the spirit Frank Herbert put into the books (though there were some things lacking...it's tough to capture all of it on screen). Not to mention it raises so many issues of loyalty, love, and difficult choices...*sigh* beautiful.

I don't think I took a breath for the entire two hours.

I wanted to jump and root for him (my grandma saw it, but it brought back too many memories having lived through those times). I still haven't seen The Passion.
