Among many of those listed "Tuesdays with Maurie" and "Nell"

Being that i'm a projectionist at a movie theater, i get to see a lot of movies if i want to (while on the clock i might add  ). I never have seen Passion of the Christ though.

Movies that moved me? 8-mile, Hustle and Flow, Cinderella Man are a few.

However, i must say, most movies i watch move me only to repentance for having watched them, being that they are so filled with filth. Trying to cut back on pretty much......well everything, now.

The most moving movie that I have ever watched is "Schindlers List". I haven't watched a movie in such a long time. I find there is not much out there anymore for Christians to watch. :)

I loved "The Pianist," "The Crow," and "Hotel Rwanda," and a lot of others you guys mentioned, too! *grin* You people have great taste :) Anyway, yeah...they totally touched me.

I would add "Children of Dune," the Sci-Fi channel miniseries...for those who have seen it/read the books, during the third part of the story ("The Golden Path") when Paul and Leto II encounter eachother on the dune *sigh* that made me cry so hard. And after Chani gave birth...that whole thing with Duncan (though that is more powerful in the book) and the choice Paul faces and...okay, I'm gonna cry if I keep thinking about it. Anyway...it totally captured so much of the spirit Frank Herbert put into the books (though there were some things lacking...it's tough to capture all of it on screen). Not to mention it raises so many issues of loyalty, love, and difficult choices...*sigh* beautiful.

Although it protrayed too much emphasis on Mary, I still would have to say Passion of the Christ was the most moving movie I've seen. I don't think I took a breath for the entire two hours.

I rented "The Pianist" thinking it was about music or something.

Wow....that was POWERFUL! Anyone else see it???

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I saw that... *sniffle* And Cinderella Man... I don't like boxing, but I do like movies based on actual events... I wanted to jump and root for him (my grandma saw it, but it brought back too many memories having lived through those times).

I still haven't seen The Passion.
