There is no reason for this. If we keep in touch with Jesus, strengthen our immune system and immediately cope with the symptoms of cold or flu when they start, everything will be fine.

She keeps me getting tested.    Yes, in the past I had it.    But, I have not had it sense May.

I would think that once you've had it, you would be relatively safe.

The OP has been infected and sick twice. Being infected once is no guarantee that one is safe.

Yes, but the chances are slim, and I believe subsequent infections are less serious. And if we take care of ourselves, our immune systems should be strong.

You're entitled to your opinion, my friend. The facts state otherwise.

Usually, but not always.

Satan rules this world (1 John 5:19) - you have to take what you hear with a grain of salt.

I don't hear the CDC say a word about our immune systems, yet I can think of no better way to safe from the virus than to get the rest we need, get enough to eat, stay comfortably warm, and stay away from tobacco.

You can never completely erase risk from life. Tens of thousands of people die each year in car accidents in this country (USA). Have we stopped driving?

I'm not arguing the wisdom of doing what we can to keep our bodies healthy. I'm just saying that it often is not enough - especially during a pandemic. Vaccination (as I know you've done) is the most effective way to avoid infection and illness.

Yes, I wish everyone would get vaccinated. That doesn't mean I believe they should be forced to. But if they choose not to get vaccinated, I don't think I should be required to wear a mask to protect them.
