Gender neutral hymnal approved

Have you heard that the Evangelical Lutheran Church has just approved a new gender neutral hymnal. One of the "improvements" is to remove the term "Father" and "Son" and replace them with "holy eternal majesty" and "holy eternal word".

Does anyone else find this approaching a "New Age" mindset???? It's a bit scary coming from a major, established Christian denomination.

*rolls eyes* I don't get people. I mean, honestly. When did women become so insecure that we need to have everything catered to us. *exhasperated sigh* It's rediculous. I mean, I get that it's not just a surface-level thing, that it's one more step toward total obliteration...but you'd think they could at least be a little more creative, or less whiny.

Why don't they just close their doors and go up to the mountain and dance around the fire and get it over with? All they are now is bait to lead others astray.
