That isn't a 'timeline' as the only events to take place but an order of events.  In other words 'the end' doesn't come first (end of the age) and then Christ return but Christs return signals the end of an age.

 ONE takes place at the BEGINNING of the Lords Day and the other takes place at the end.  BOTH have cleansing fires taking place.  One is Armageddon and the other is Gog and Magog.  One ENDS the 'age',   the other ends the 'Day'.

WHEN Christ returns SATAN is destroyed by the brightness of His coming. WE are told this 3 times back to back so when ANYONE chooses to believe LIES BECAUSE they have some 'doctrine' that requires the words of God to be made null and void, they will be without excuse, and are loving a lie more than the truth.  

CHRIST DOES NOT RETURN AT ALL FOR ANY REASON UNTIL AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF SATAN.  IT IS only AT THAT TIME GODS WRATH WILL BEGIN TO FALL UPON THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN THE MARK OF THE BEAST.  But it isn't the END cleansing it is the beginning cleansing.

CHRISTS RETURN WITH THE ARMIES OF HEAVEN

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Revelation 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

This is when rev 20 BEGINS, NOT ENDS

It is a LITERAL 1000 years, not some 'other' time that lasts for.  

3 1/2 years We have the 'beast' rise up ON THE EARTH, we have the war in heaven, 2 witnesses sent to earth WHO CAN MAKE IT QUIT RAINING ON THE EARTH, deadly wound healed followed by last 3 1/2 years when Satan is cast DOWN TO THE EARTH with his angels (LIKE THE DAYS OF NOE) they receive their 'kingdom' one hour with the beast ON THE EARTH and we see the GREAT SIGNS AND LYING WONDERS TAKING PLACE ON THE EARTH (covenant confirmed for the week from Daniel 9) the IMAGE set up ON THE EARTH,  worshipping of it by the world THE EARTH WORLD (daily sacrifice/love going to God taken away aka falling away OF THOSE ON THE EARTH)

Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon which is when the day the 2 witnesses killed THEN LYING ON THE STREETS OF THE EARTH WHILE Satan standing where he ought not ON THE EARTH and after the 3 1/2 days witnesses rise UP FROM THE EARTH as the armies coming from heaven following CHRISTS BRIGHTNESS as it is destroying evil,
Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.


SATAN BOUND AND SEALED IN THE EARTH, 
the alive and remaining changed and the LORDS DAY/ 1000 years/ millennium BEGINS when HIS FOOT TOUCHES THE MOUNT OF OLIVES.   THIS is where we rule and reign ON THE EARTH with Christ for those 1000 years as the nations come to worship and learn of GODS TRUTHES. 


AT the end OF THE DAY Satan is loosed for short season every one is gathered and MORE FIRE and lake of FIRE takes place and WHEN all evil is GONE a new heaven and a new earth are brought about and this AGE IS GONE FOR EVEN not to be remembered again.    THAT is the order of events I believe.  

 

REMEMBER I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE BEAST AND FALSE PROPHET

Revelation 19:16 And He hath on his vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

Revelation 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These BOTH were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

 

REMEMBERING WHERE THE BEAST AND FALSE PROPHET WENT AT THE BEGINNING

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Revelation 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

ONLY NOW WILL SATAN/THE DEVIL BE CAST IN WITH THE TWO WHO WENT INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AT THE BEGINNING
 

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.


THOSE ARE THE TWO DIFFERENT BATTLES.  One at the beginning of the Lords Day and one at the end.  HERE ON EARTH AND LITERAL AS life is to us today.
