The saints reigning with Christ when Gog invades the promised land have been resurrected. They will not suffer a second death. These are immortal. They don't die a second death. They have eternal life. I don't think Gog understands scripture very well. I don't believe he even knows Israel has already been resurrected and has put on immortality. As Ezekiel 38 says, israel is secure and live in safety. Persia, Ethiopia or any of the other nations that Invade Israel that day don't seem to know much either. They sure as heck don't understand scripture. I bet they don't even know the son of God is living in Jerusalem at that time. Maybe Gog is still waiting for the rapture. Maybe he still waiting for the resurection too. The Son of God is in heaven...he ascended up from the Mt. of Olives some 2000 years ago...scripture says the heaven must receive him until the restitution of all things spoken of by the prophets...there are prophecies that have to be fulfilled before he comes back...he is not in Jerusalem right now...he ascended up far above all heavens...
