Old Covenant Israel was the bride of the LORD (who is Jesus preincarnate). The New Testament Church is the bride of Christ (the LORD incarnate). A case can be made based on scripture that bride number one was physical Israel. Bride number two is spirit Israel. Romans 9:6 Romans 2:28-29 Ephesians 2:11-22 Jeremiah 31:31-37 Which is not replacement theology, but inclusion theology (of Gentiles into what God intended for all Israel all along).
