No, I don't understand that.  It has been approved for general use to combat the virus.

Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to authorize bivalent formulations of the vaccines for use as a single booster dose at least two months following primary or booster vaccination. The bivalent vaccines, which we will also refer to as “updated boosters,” contain two messenger RNA (mRNA) components of SARS-CoV-2 virus, one of the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and the other one in common between the BA.4 and BA.5 lineages of the omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2.

The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent, is authorized for use as a single booster dose in individuals 18 years of age and older. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent, is authorized for use as a single booster dose in individuals 12 years of age and older.

The monovalent COVID-19 vaccines that are authorized or approved by the FDA and have been administered to millions of people in the United States since December 2020 contain a component from the original strain of SARS-CoV-2.

If people are too stupid to protect themselves from the extremely contagious and deadly COVID-19 virus then perhaps that is a good example of natural selection.  People with common sense and reasonable caution will survive; stupid and/or ignorant people will die.

That statement is 100% false. The mRNA vaccine were approved by the FDA in 2021 after an extended period of EUA - emergency use authorization.

Will you please just stop spouting false information?

@Sparks has a good inside knowledge of what the Covid vaccines can do. And the boosters are worse.

Sparks only knows what his ultra right-wing webpages tell him - which are frequently full of erroneous and misinterpreted drivel.

Is that why Jesus said to people that came to Him for healing "Don't worry, this too shall pass"?  You are mixing up fear and common sense.  COVID is a deadly virus and should be feared.  Sane people take proper precautions!

BTW, are you a Jehovah's Witness?

If you take fear over the trust, faith and hope of Jesus Christ that is your choice.

Getting vaccinated is simply common sense. It is not placing a vaccine in the position of a substitute god.

First of all it is wise to capitalize the word "God" out of respect but that is your choice. God gave us common sense but He also gave us the ability to pray to Him and ask for guidance and direction if a person chooses to become a believer. An unbeliever can do anything they want. Satan already has them.

The trust, faith and hope of Jesus Christ doesn't include willful ignorance.  Your confusing fear and common sense.

It is wrong to capitalize "god" if it is not referring to the supreme creator.  There are many false gods.  Now back to the OP subject...
