You are claiming that the IPCC cannot be trusted because of supposed lies, but you are going to literally make up a story about the IPCC claiming that Florida would be underwater by now. To top it off, you probably do not even recognize any inconsistency.

The IPCC was caught twice lying, called Climate Gate I and II.  Better get used to the fact they are liars, as most politicians usually are liars, especially the Communist ones.  Worse, actual observation on climate is not anywhere close to their predictions, and never has been.  Yeah, Florida is still OK.

Rush Limbaugh set his calendar to the dooms day predictions of Al Gore (January 27th, 2006) who said we had just 10 years left.  Well, 2016 came and went without any climate Armageddon.  But somehow the hysteria always comes back, and we are supposedly doomed, again.  :24:

You know, not that climatologists and politicians are typically any good at math so they cannot check the math for themselves, but know that the math used to create the charts and predictions are typically correct.  The figures will pass a peer review over the math alone, but using the exact same figures, know that you can also make the trend appear to be towards a global cooling and also pass the peer review, depending on placement (think parabola).

There is also a deception in the formula related to feedback.  If you remove these errors in math, the C02 is fine.  No doomsday.

when did they stop?

I'm not sure. I noticed a couple years ago I think ? I didn't keep track of the date. My dad said we are supposed to have a winter cold enough to refill the lakes. If people are going to swim I think this needs to be one of few things that is mainly regulated to the public sphere. But, then again, I don't like swimwear. :43::runforhills:

So you say.

What if I made the claim that the IPCC said the moon was made of green cheese and repeatedly insisted on it? What would that make me and what effect would that have on my credibility?

You just won't look.  You know, even Wikipedia 'the socialist times,' mentions it.

It is very weird how you won’t even try to show me I’m wrong.

Your argument is destroyed, but you don't seem to realize it.  :emot-nod:

This is my argument - your claim that the IPCC predicted that Florida would be underwater by now is a false claim. You are destroying nothing but your credibility.

So, your claim is that only Al said it, and wrote it, and put it in a movie but the IPCC had no input about it?

You have already read my claim. In case you are confused, I will repeat it.

"Your claim that the IPCC predicted that Florida would be underwater by now is a false claim."

I see.  Who do you think Al was citing when he made his claim?

Be careful, you sure don't want to step on this landmine.  :emot-nod:
