"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ," (Ephesians 1:3)

So, God "has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places". And these spiritual blessings are "in Christ". So, if Jesus now lives in us, does this mean that now already we can experience and enjoy Heaven's own spiritual blessings? If this God's will for us now?

Well . . . Jesus says, "All things that the Father has are Mine," in John 16:15. So, I see how Paul means that in Jesus we do have all the spiritual good which God has . . . shared with us.

And I personally understand that all God's spiritual blessings - - - of Heaven - - - are in God's love which is Heaven's love. And it is written >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

Oh-h . . . so, I see that we share with God in His own spiritual blessings while we live in His love.

Right now, we can experience and enjoy how God's love is . . . while we live in this love.

So, why do ones not experience sharing with God, now, in His own love which has "every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places"?

Well . . . Jesus is "gentle and lowly in heart," He says in Matthew 11:28-30. So, this love is gentle and humble and kind - - - not dominating and controlling drives for pleasure!! Intimacy with pleasure sensations is not the same as intimacy with God. And God's love does not have us only using other people for what we want. People seeking selfish pleasure, then, can miss out on being with God in His love.

Plus, God is all-loving; so His love in us has us loving any and all people.

And Jesus does say,

"if you love those who love you, what reward have you?" in Matthew 5:46.

So, if we are living in picky and choosy love, even judging who is worth loving and who does not deserve to be loved, this can keep us out of God's love which is all-loving. And God is personal in how He loves, not distant and impersonal.

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

So, God our Father is so personal with His children, that each child of God is "one spirit with Him". People, then, can miss out on sharing with God, while they are denying that He intimately shares and personally communicates with each of His children.

Also, while anyone is being impersonal with others . . . this can keep the person in what is not God our Father's personally caring and sharing family love.

And >

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment." (in 1 John 4:18)

So, in case a person is giving in to fear and its "torment", this can keep the person from enjoying personal sharing with God. God is almighty; so I understand that His love is almighty to cast out fear easily and breezily and beautifully. And, of course, worry is very abusive and a pathological lier; but ones do trust and even obey what their worry is telling them, when ones can submit to God and trust Him and how He rules us in His own peace > Colossians 3:15 < God's peace, of course, is a heavenly blessing which we can have personally ruling us, within us; and this is commanded >

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

But ones do not obey how God's peace can rule us in our minds and hearts; and so they get into various troubles; but if we pray the way God's word means > Philippians 4:6-7 < "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Again . . . we know that God is almighty. So His peace is almighty to guard our "minds" and our "hearts" so our personalities are living and functioning in this peace. This is heavenly to experience :) and commanded; so God is committed to this. Simply trust God through Jesus to do this with us.

Also >

"rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4)

I notice that the "beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit" is "incorruptible". This means that no fear or unforgiveness or selfish and worldly anger or dominating and controlling passions for pleasure are powerful enough to corrupt the "beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God".

God's love is gentle and quiet . . . and Jesus says He is "gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls," in Matthew 11:28-30. So, in God's love with almighty power we can not be corrupted in His love's "incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit". I would say this is included in the heavenly spiritual blessings which God has given to us, and which are in His love.

In gentleness and quietness of His love we have almighty rest.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
