No, he cant, but he is a master of deception. Divination...attempting to foretell the unknown by occult means...is one of his great deceptions. Through his trickery some people are convinced that they possess these special powers, and convince other people to believe that they can be helped in some way by consulting them. Some of these practioners receive help from 'familiar spirits'. The Bible talks about them.

The Bible is very clear about using magic, witchcraft, divination, astrology, charmers, consulters, mediums, enchanters, necromancy, soothsaying, sorcery etc. to obtain forbidden or hidden knowledge which God has not yet revealed. These sorts of practices are an abomination to the Lord (see Deut 18:11) and were punishable by death (Lev 20:6, 27). Numerology (which includes the 'bible codes') is divination.

That's pretty impressive. I may have made other mistakes though, I was doing it in my head.

The hidden text I meant to make was.

The Sixth sick sheiks sixth sheeps sick.

The cypher is just a simple double alphabet cypher. change all the odd letters by 3 characters to the left in the alphabet. Change all the even ones by three characters to the right. I made it up on the fly, so it has no name that I know of...

There are many secrets in the Bible we are just now discovering, including hidden authentication codes indicating its origins, identical accouts from outside historical documents that explain things with the Bible, etc.

The best resource I have found for learning a lot of this was a work that Chuck Missler assembled from various other researchers and his own efforts for more than 50 years. The 24 hour Bible Study program references much of this info and got me to start questing for more. It is 24 lessons, about 1 hour each, with a presentation along with the audio. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the Bible. The information revealed is so overwelming to some people I've met who were on the fence about Jesus, tipping them over into the light and helping them begin to understand things they never ever pondered til now.

I find it incredibly funny that the more effort scientists put into disproving the Bible and dismissing it as folk tales, the more they end up proving its a true historical accounting. The missing day on the atomic clocks was the best one.

Such codes that can be found in the so called "Bible Codes" can be found in Moby Dick. Does this mean that good old Moby was really prophesising the end of the world?

codes scha-modes i dont buy it, My Lord said to be doing his work and watching for his return, AND telling the Gospel to every creature. I am his Servant and must do as my Master says to do. Our Lord did tell Parables , and revealed the understanding to them to his disciples. Later on many did come to understand what Jesus was saying in Parables and were converted. I dont buy into the 'Bible-Codes'
