Made famous first by NASA and then Neil Degrasse Tyson. He has a recording on YouTube "Neil DeGrasse Tyson - Death By Giant Meteor". The date is very close to the 2,000-year anniversary of when Jesus went to Calvary, followed 50 days later by Pentecost and the birth of the church and the church age.
