John 11:40 Jesus said to her,

Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?

To be among the elect is to be a witness in the midst of the circumstances

that God the Father has so ordained.

You are there as necessary to testify on behalf of His Name,

and the gospel of His Son, Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 43:

10 You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen,

That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He.

Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.

11 I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.

12 I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, and not foreign among you;

Therefore you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God.

The faithful receive that glimpse into Glory, witnessed by Peter and James,

John and Paul, and even Steven.

Acts 7:

55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God,

and Jesus standing at the right hand of God,

56 and said, Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!

Steven’s Witness earned him a standing ovation!

The apostle John's testimony is true to the Word of Life, found in Christ alone.

1 John 1:

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,

which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life—

2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life

which was with the Father and was manifested to us—

There are false teachers who make claims that a statement by one apostolic witness contradicts

the testimony of the son of man Christ Jesus. Their efforts are directed towards discrediting the

witness of their Acts and letters. This is the working of a reprobate mind.

If there is an apparent contradiction, the issue is with human logic and reasoning.

We are informed by the mind of Christ and the Spirit of truth, that there is always at least one

additional testimony that can be called upon to bring clarity.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word,

it is because there is no light in them.

To this end we have been assured and so informed:

“By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.” 2 Corinthians 13:1

Matthew 18:

15 Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.

If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses

every word may be established.’

As established in the Law concerning witnesses

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits;

by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.

You Are My Witnesses

Isaiah 44:

6 Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

I am the First and I am the Last. Besides Me there is no God.

7 And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,

Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come,

Let them show these to them.

8 Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it?

You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not.

His Glory Expressed By His Father’s Voice

Deuteronomy 5:

23 So it was, when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, while the mountain

was burning with fire, that you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders.

24 And you said: Surely the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness,

and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that

God speaks with man; yet he still lives.

Confirming the Sure Word of Prophecy

2 Peter 1:

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power

and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.

17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him

from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines

in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

What great reminders!  We need to live each day as witnesses to His glory.  Let our lives be as a praise to Him.  That's what the world needs to see! :)

@Mr. M ; @JasperWalls11 I am also reminded of John 1.14: "We beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth".

1 Peter 5:1-4 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Jude doxology

24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.

@JasperWalls11 I do love that Incarnation quote in John 1.14; Colossians 2.9-10 is a similar one: "In Him dwelleth all fhe fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him".

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
