Some good Bible teachers in the past have said this refers to the rapture but it doesn’t. They will be forgiven Steve because, unlike you, they didn’t deliberately set out to continually twist verses to mislead people so as to drag them to hell. This is the word of God as spoken by Jesus Christ concerning when he comes as gathers his church. Verse 31 is referring to the gathering of all the Jews out of the nations, to the land of Israel. Corresponds to Ezekiel 39:28. The phrase from one end of heaven to the other is take from Deuteronomy 30: 3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. ------------------------------------------------------- The rapture timing could happen before the 70th week begins or it may not. Paul spoke of this gathering unto Christ at his coming as well.He mentioned the dead in Christ rising and them who remain being caught up to be with the Lord. Paul said there would be a falling away and the son of perdition would be revealed before the Lord came and the gathering unto him.
