Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.

The Bible (Tanakh) says that Israel is the fig tree.

Matt 21: 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away. 20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

When fig tree in other words the Jews turn to believe that Yeshua is the Messiah so then ceases current world and its systems and begin thousand year kingdom pf peace. Yeshua the Messiah rule there.

To fig tree becomes at the beginning firstripes and after that main harvest. Situation is such in land of Israel that there are now ten of a thousand Jews, who believe that Yeshua is the Messiah. That ten of a thousand are firstripes before main harvest will be reap at the end of the days, and then all Israel will be saved like Paul wrote to Romans.

So I will bless nation of Israel and will preach it that Yeshua is the Messiah. The One testifying these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Yeshua the Messiah!

Mat 23:37-39 MKJV O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not! (38) Behold, your house is left to you desolate. (39) For I say to you, You shall not see Me from now on until you say, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" .Also: Luk 13:34-35

The 71 Sanhedrin were responsible for making the decision for Israel to reject Yeshua the first time He came 2000 years ago. The Sanhedrin have just formed again last year! They will no doubt be the ones who will again make a decision, but this time say "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord".

I wouldn't count on that....

It will more likely be secular Israelis who are sick of the Hassidim.

The Bible (Tanakh) says that Israel is the fig tree.

Matt 21: 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. What has this got to do with modern day Israel?

Notice what your posted verse says...

Matt 21: 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away

So is fruit still to come from Israel or not?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well, the fig tree is used as an illustration of Israel, but the passage quoted by PetriFB is not about Israel. Jesus is using a fig tree He cursed in order to make a point in a discussion wholly unrelated to Israel. PetriFB essentially quoted the wrong passage. It is incorrect to take EVERY passage that mentions a fig tree and apply it to Israel.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

(Matthew 24:32-35)

Here we see that the fig tree is used in an illustrative tool. The interesting thing about this is that fig trees bring forth figs and then leaves. Usually fruit bearing plants bring for leaves first. We see an unusual fig tree that brings forth leaves first as being a sign of the end times. Israel will be restored physcially first (put forth leaves) and then be restored spiritually (bear fruit). A fig tree bringing forth leaves first is an oddity. It is not in keeping with the way fig trees are supposed to behave. Likewise the rebirth of Israel was an oddity. No other nation that had been exiled, and no longer solvent for 2000 years, has ever been reborn. Israel, statistically should not exist. They are hopelessly outnumbered, out manned and out gunned on all sides, yet no physical enemy has ever been able to defeat them. They have survived against odds that would have rendered any other nation extinct. Not only have they survived, but they have went on to outstrip their enemies, not only in battle, but in every every intellectual discipline.

The Jewish people are prophesied by God to return to the Land in the end times, but they return to the Land in unbelief. We see this theme all throughout the prophetic writings. It is after they have already returned to the Land that God will restore them spiritually. Christians have tried to explain away the prophetic nature of Israel's rebirth by pointing out that they are still mostly in unbelief. That point ends up supporting, not detracting from the Divine nature of, and supernatural events surrounding, Israel's rebirth in accordance with Scripture.

If Israel Excepted Jesus the First time there would be no such things as Christians, we'd all be Jews, so to answer your question Nope! They will be Jews who except Jesus.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
