I am just looking at the cam now - Awww!  Mama is sitting on that snow covered nest and there is wind.  She looks miserable.

you can move the curser backwards and see what has been going on earlier ,,, there was a lot more activity when dad decided to redecorate the nest ,, mummy bird was NOT amused to have a stick plonked down on top of her  :24:

One lady asked the firemen to break into her side door and feed her starving dogs.   They did, but she also got burglarized!

@Debp Cause and effect............ :)

The wind and snow don't appear to be letting up. There were problems with the cameras earlier today. Cam 1 is okay now. The eagles are endeavoring to persevere.

dont know what is going on but the wide angle camera shows early morning whilst the nest camera is showing it is still pitch black and it keeps cutting out :noidea:

Took a break from the computer for a few days.

We are having terrible snow storms in the mountains.   People are stranded there, some running out of food.   The snow is up to some people's roofs.

Today on the news some people were hiking down the mountain trying to get meds at a pharmacy somewhere.   (The roads are closed.) When the road opens temporarily, the police escort cars up.    Some grocery delivery trucks are waiting for the road to open up.

It's a big story here on the news.

Hopefully the nest camera will start working ok again soon.   I did rewind it and saw the previous activity.    But right now it was just black.   Maybe it's because of this bad storm?

There is so much snow that some roofs are collapsing... including the one market in one area.   So maybe too much snow on the camera did something?

@Debp Many speed cameras for road vehicles don't actually serve their function because the camera is not working properly or has run out of digital resource or whatever............

There needs to be; 1) a camera; and 2) a camera which works......... :)

I can see some if I rewind but the date says 28th Feb whereas it is now 3rd March :noidea: it has been showing a blank or a green screen for a few days now but does appear to show what has already been recorded it you take it off "live"

well at least a lot of snow has melted but they do appear to be leaving the eggs more and spending less time in the nest ..guess they are almost ready to admit they are not going to have new chicks this year :emot-fail:
