Galatians 6:

1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such

a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

We have been instructed to come to Him with our burdens. How are we to do so?

Is it not to turn to those who have proven to be spiritual, to fulfill the law of Christ?

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

The Father has so ordained that this is how we maintain

balance and equality in the body of Christ.

2 Corinthians 8:

13 For not that others should be eased and you burdened;

14 But by an equality, now at this time your abundance may supply their lack,

that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be  equality.

By the ministering in His Name, the saints have been

assured of an abundance of grace for every need.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich,

yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all

sufficiency in all, may have an abundance for every good work.

This work of ministry results in many thanksgivings to God,

while making mention of our names before His throne.

1 Corinthians 9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints,

but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God.

2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sake, that grace having spread through the many,

may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Making mention of the names of saints we are in fellowship is a part of daily prayers.

Ephesians 1:16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers.

1 Thessalonians 1:

2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,

3 Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord

Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.

Philemon 1:

4 I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,

5 Hearing of your love and faith, which you have toward the Lord Jesus,

and toward all saints;

6 That the fellowship of your faith may become effectual by the

acknowledging every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Any chance you can simplify this thread @Mr. M?

Are there a number of strings to it that we could unravel with regard to equality?

This teaching of Paul is a very specific context. A part of the body with the resources use them to make up for lack within the body of Christ. The "equality" is there should be no suffering and misery in the world. This is not a dollar to dollar equality, Or communism. Christian charity in our day tends more towards world poverty, which is understandable in today's global village. When Paul was writing to the Corinthians, the charity was directed towards persecuted brethren, particularly in Jerusalem. That being the case, we have to continue to see to that area as well. Recently I was reading about the number of refuges displaced by war in Iraq, and Syria alone. Now Ukraine is adding to the 65 million mentioned in the article. This is a great source of hardship. Paul showed a desire to ease those whose condition was so low that their day to day life was impoverished and imperiled.

This is the Law and the Prophets.

Deuteronomy 10:7 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. 18 He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. 19 Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Jeremiah 22:3 Thus says the Lord: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.

Even in poverty there exists gifts of the spirit. All have a contribution.

Romans 15:26 For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem. 27 It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
