Isaiah 48;22

There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

 

Jeremiah 23:14-17

I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD. Isaiah 57:20-21

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

 

Jeremiah 6:13-15

They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Ezekiel 13:10-11

Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

 

Ezekiel 13:13-16

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it. So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it; To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

 

Jeremiah 8:11-13

Hello, glad to see another familiar name here. You are on many forums both visited & member shipped.

Folks seem to think no matter whether good or bad when death comes that's it.

Not so, says the word in Hebrews. For IT IS APPOINTED UNTO MAN ONCE TO DIE.....THEN THE JUDGMENT.

This is the FACT that is overlooked, there is much, much more beyond death. These earthen vessels will return from whence they were made but life goes on; either to eternal life or eternal punishment !

I watch a lot of criminal docs & it hurts to even think what wickedness is perpetrated upon man by man. The evil, self pleasuring torture or abuse, the lack of any human conscieness towards the victims and the callousness of " oh well", sickens me & I truly believe & hope in the Lord's vengeance!

I also believe in capital punishment but society is too soft justice 4 justice is a joke. Lethal injection is a farce and slap in the face of victims & families.

We hear so much," God is love...."yeah well......

God is a consuming fire and wickedness is against everything that is love & godly.

God states how the wicked will be recompensed, even the deniers & rejecters of his Son & his word !
