COURT: Students Can Wear Pro-Transgender Shirts, But Not Anti-Trans Shirts

It’s okay to wear t-shirts promoting the LGBT agenda, but be careful if you wear a shirt promoting the idea that God made only two genders.  That’s the decision of a federal district court in Massachusetts. 

 

The court refused to issue a temporary injunction that would have stopped Nichols Middle School from banning Liam Morrison from wearing a shirt that says “there are only two genders.”

Alliance Defending Freedom is representing the 12-year-old. They plan to appeal the ruling.

“This isn’t about a T-shirt; this is about a public school telling a 7th grader that he isn’t allowed to hold a view that differs from the school’s preferred orthodoxy,” said ADF’s Logan Spena. “Public school officials can’t censor Liam’s speech by forcing him to remove a shirt that states a scientific fact. Doing so is a gross violation of the First Amendment that we’re urging the court to rectify.”

They point out that students are allowed to wear clothing that promotes the transgender movement. Many classrooms and hallways are decorated with gay pride flags and posters on sexual orientation.

The message is clear: only one sort of opinion is permissible. All others are censored. And that happens to be a violation of Liam’s constitutionally-protected rights.

Nichols Middle School is not so much a place of learning as it is a place for grooming.

What is with this sudden conservatives use of "grooming" these days? Is it just implying your "enemies" are pedophiles now?

Interestingly, it was pointed out that the current woke/LGBT-outrage is likely an intentional conservative pivot to another moral panic since the overturn of Roe v Wade. Gotta get some new red meat out there to keep the money flowing.

No, it's just that people don't want their children being brainwashed into accepting things like transgenderism, homosexuality as normal and okay.  They don't want their children exposed to drag queens.  Grooming is the correct description of what is happening.  That is why children are the target of the Left's obsession with sexual perversion.  It's even happening at Disney.   Disney has become a pedophile's paradise.

Please demonstrate that Disney "has become pedophile's paradise".

Being a pluralistic society is great. But it can't be all one sided. You don't see "straight pride" symbols in the hallways of schools. You don't see anything "conservative" in those hallways. Everyone already has the same rights and freedoms, except if you are conservative. Liberals are for inclusivity as long as you are not a conservative.

But that cuts both ways.  He has the freedom to wear the shirt and they have the freedom to wear pro-trans shirts, at least that is how it should be.  But in this case, they are making it one-sided where one side gets to express their view, and this boy does not.  So I don't know why you think is about freedom when one side's freedoms are being infringed upon.

If you put your children in public school for their education know that you are having them taught every abomination to God in the Bible and encouraging them to engage in them.

The Bible says a great deal about how we are to educate our children in both the old and new testaments, it is wide to know and obey it.

I agree 100%, but some parents have no other options. Some people can't realistically do private school or home school.

Because the LGBT community seems very obsessed with children and being around children and sharing their deviant views and lifestyle with children. That's why conservatives call them groomers. What they are doing is unnatural and really creepy.
