Most of the references (yet not all) to Holy Place speak of the same. A smuggling priest? Traveling through the priest's court, they would see him bringing it in. And he would know he would find instant death. Also many say this statement of Jesus is the same as Paul's statement of the anti Christ sitting in the temple of God. there is no other place to sit-showing that you are God. How will this be seen? His armed forces do. Daniel 11 31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. The norths armed forces will do two things according to Daniel. first they will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will place the abomination that causes desolation. According to Daniel 12:11 there shall be 1290 days from the day the daily sacrifice is abolished to the day the abomination that causes jerusalems desolation .
