:D Alright G-m, I can see this is going no where! Let's move to point #2. Can you tell me the biblical definition of anti-christ?

Oh, I don't think it's going nowhere. I think this is a very profitable conversation. :D

Antichrist is only mentioned in four verses in 1 John and 2 John respectively. The term "antichrist" is not specifically defined in these verses. Howver, commonly, it is given that the antichrist is one who denies the Father and the Son and Jesus coming in the flesh.

Now, you would say that Islam is antichrist because of these verses in the Bible, yes? I agree! Islam is antichrist. Just as Buddism, Sufi, Ba'hai, New Age, etc. are all likewise antichrist. But remember, we are not discussing the inward content of this false religion, we are talking about religious fanaticism.

Oh....just religious fanaticism in general. I thought the subject here was Islam. But the inward content of the religion has nothing to do with it? :D Are these people strapping bombs to themselves and flying jumbo jets into buildings just because they are certifiable. Maybe it's the unbearable heat in the desert! It's probably just a coincidence that they were Muslims. Islam couldn't possibly have anything to do with it, why it's a peaceful religion. :D

It's smilie time! Man I was looking for this guy on my last post! :D:D^_^

Now I think you're picking up on my line of thinking here. Yes, it is religious fanaticism that is to blame. But as I have said before it is stronger in Islam because of the way the Koran is written. That, and the fact that Islam is a false religion.

But religious fanaticism can be found anywhere there is religion. There are Christian extremists just as there are Muslim extremists. It's religon that is to blame for this kind of fanaticism, not necesarilly the core faith.

Thank you so much for that post God-man. Yes, who is our neighbor anyway??? We Christians should heed the words of our Lord and take the log out of our own eyes before worrying about the speck in the other guy's eye. :D

I really get offended at all this hate rhetoric spewing from the mouths of 'confessing' Christians. Is this how we spread the gospel? I guess if you can't convert 'em, kill 'em. That's how it comes off to those in the world who are watching. The War on Terrorism is very convenient for the church, who HATE Muslims.

I don't get,I guess I never will---Why is it,everytime someone standsUP & states {THIS IS WRONG}

or just posts an article, then that person, that article has a LOT OF HATEFUL RHETORIC in it??????

THEN {WE} must get the "BEAM" out of our own eye????ISLAM is comparable to having a speck in

ones eye????? hmmmmmmmmmmmm??? I wonder IF the modern day {official interpretator} of all of

Chrisendom can define WHEN {spewing hate out of the mouth of all christians} occurs & WHEN it

doesn't????? IT looks like it's always "OUR" fault------ :upsided: --I give up---- :suspect: --Gary-----

Well, of course, one can fairly easily and quite correctly disagree with "god-man" who thinks that Islam itself is not the real problem. Does he actually think that Islam's founder and chief pontificator, WARRIOR-GENERAL Mohammad of Yathrib was the forerunner of one, Florence Nightingale? Not yet.

Islam was born and bred in intense violence as any even perfunctory investigation of the Qu'ran and the Hadith will assert. Islamic enlargement was ALWAYS at the edge of the very sword from which it receives its long-acknowledged title, "The religion of the sword." Ask Charles Martel, for one prime example, if the Islamic hordes came in peace in 732 A.D. at Tours where they were soundly defeated in the battle for Europe yet!

Islam knows peace only to the extent it isn't in control of society. Where Islam rules, suppression, violence and murder reign supreme. Check out Northern Nigeria, Sudan, Iran, Somalia, Mindanao, East Timor, Libya and on into the Muslim night. It's not a pretty picture.

When the followers of Mohammad commence the opening of Judaistic, Christian & Hindu buildings of worship in Muslim-dominated countries and permit prosyletizing, drop us a line. And note: we're talking MUSLIM here, not Muslim terrorist.

Hi....I'm here....helloooooo? You can ask me a direct question "Arthur." No need to speak of me as if I'm not here.

I maintain the position that it is not Islam itself that is to blame directly for terrorism, but religious fanaticism and extemist hate mongers. You find these kind of people in all religions worldwide, not just Islam. Less than 10% of Islam is composed of these sorts, by the way...

Ever been to Indonesia?

We were warned by the people......muslim people..... to watch our backs, because violence against Christians was considered permissible by the imams. And this was in the 70's. not in these terror happy years.

My folks spent about 10 years working there.

I heard on the radio this morning that Americans were warned to leave Indonesia. Was this for politcal reason, or was it a warning against Christians only? Seems to me that one need not be an American to be a Christian. Or perhaps the East considers all Americans to be Christian.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
