Dear ones,

This is what we have heard:

“Then the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: “I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.”

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.”

‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Dear one, where is this place that the Lord have chosen for Himself as a house of sacrifice? Dear one, where is this place that now the eyes of the Lord will be open and His ears attentive to prayer ?

This is what we have heard:

“Coming to Him (Christ) as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

‭‭I Peter‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Likewise, we heard :

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

So dear ones, the Lord  has chosen this place, that is our bodies, for Himself as a house of sacrifice, the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in us, whom we have from God and that our bodies and our spirits are not our own, for we are bought at a price, therefore, we glorify God in our bodies and in our spirits, which are God’s.

Dear ones, for now the Lord’s eyes will be open and His ears attentive to prayer made in this place, where we come to Christ as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, we also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Dear one,

Let us be strengthen in our faith in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us speak and believe in our hearts, that is, the righteousness of our faith, that we declare:

Beloved Lord Jesus Christ, for we are Your people  who are called by Your name, we humble ourselves, and pray and seek Your face, and grant us the strength to turn from our wicked ways.

Lord, hear us from heaven, and forgive our sin and heal our land.

Now Lord, let Your eyes be opened and Your ears be attentive to prayer made in this place, where we come to Christ as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, we also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Lord, we behold, that You lay in Zion, a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and we who believes on Christ will by no means be put to shame. Therefore, to us who believe, Christ is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone, and “A stone of stumbling And a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

But we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Christ’s own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Christ who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

As Beloved of the apostles, as sojourners and pilgrims, grant us Your strength, O Lord, to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the souls.

Grant us Your strength, O Lord, we pray, to order our conduct aright, that our conduct may be found honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against us as evildoers, they may, by our good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Amen.

I have grappled with this question: What was in Eden and the world that needed subduing? The only thing I can come up with is some animals became fierce and predatory, and now lawlessness would have to be subdued. Thoughts?

Hi . I would offer looking at the word "subduing" which is of a person or their manner "quiet and rather reflective or depressed" a call of peace take care and support . Mankind failed to subdue. . . he ate he forbidden fruit rather than fruit of Christ's righteousness the hidden glory of God.God's reflective  glory was not in the garden (what the eyes see)  but was in mankind a temple of God  mankind was to care for it water, plow. .  not eat of the forbidden fruit they failed to subdue it  (you will surely not die look at my beauty and live forever why believe in a God not seen) it subdued them

The kind of subduing I would offer would be when the demonstration of Spirit of Christ hid Elijah in a cave protecting him from the enemy of the gospel. . When the time was up  at first he used thunder, lightning earthquake in a hope he would come out before the walls clasped in. . .  but he had no strength to come out for fear of his enemy. Then Christ subdued  Elijah. by the small gospel voice  of faith . "Come out,  I have more work for you to do". . and "it was good" peace was made anew he was strengthened to come out  .

Elijah a picture or parable of Christ repenting mankind returning them to His love. . Then when moved Elijah did bear the reminder how childish it was to not move by trusting God the first time like he did the first 450 false apostles against 1 true .  .

Jeremiah 31:19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth

God uses caves that way through the bible. .  makes a great study .

1 Kings 19:12-13 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

The gospel water of the word the still small voice put out the fiery wrath

Hebrews 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.

.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
