No one was expected to believe the apostles in Word only. 1 Corinthians 4:19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power. 20 For the kingdom of God is not in logos but in power. Yes signs not seen as metaphors follow that one believes. They speak in a new tongue, the gospel. False prophecy coming from false apostles as the poison of serpents will not harm them. The bible is not promoting we seek after signs rather than prophecy. That would be the work of the devil the lying signs and wonders king of this world. Its why he called Nicodemus a sign and wonder person and declared the greatest possible miracle" born again" .He lovingly commanded him to marvel not .Marveling and wondering is not believing as a anchor to our new born again soul. He can not lie. These signs shall follow them that believe. Not just the 12 not just in the times of Christ. One can know the Father through Christ be His yet not have faith in that name. I am no one and those signs follow me since I believe have faith in trust in cling to..haha AMP!
