Agreed, which is why (I assume) you were not arrested. I dumped TV in 1997. Fortunately, the internet was just coming of age at that time. So I get my information from literally hundreds of diverse internet sources. A simple google search will get you to stories about it, as well as stories refuting it. Then you get to make up your own mind. That's what I do all the time. It's why I knew early on that Zimmerman and Rittenhouse would both win, before people were even talking about trials. My first 18 years as a born again Christian were at an Assembly of God church, I never did receive the gift of tongues and sought it at first. A lot of my friends did, though. But we finally got a message during the worship service that was quantifiable/qualifiable back in 1998 that sort of put an end to public tongues and interpretations. The interpretation was this: In 2000 all the computers are gonna crash. Dead serious. That wasn't the only example, but it's quite damning. I was in my '20s and backslidden. He said "The next time you do drugs I'm going to take your life." That was it for me. I quit cold turkey and never did drugs again. A long time ago.
