Moral Idealism Abounds! In the wake of the violence in Israel there has been much "moral high ground" grandstanding in condemnation of Israel and the suffering of "innocent women and children". What? Was there no lack of suffering among the women and children of the world before now that anyone would reserve there moral indignation for Israel? James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. There is no easier way to take on the manner of the world than to express opinions with lip service, with a heart that is far from the Father. Capitalism for example is based on greed and deceitfulness. Democracy enables vast segments of society to vote based on handouts, While Marxism in reality is based on who is the nastiest bully willing to murder for power. Joy is much appreciated in a world of hurts and despair. Practical example: if every swing of a golf club results in a hole in one how long does one enjoy playing the game? Everybody's score is 18.
