Jesus

Revelation 11:8

You say they are Yahshua's witnesses

John said the angel was speaking.

Simple question got a simple and honest answer.

You say the angel is speaking...in Revelation 11

In 11:3 it says..."I will grant authority to my two witnesses"

Now using your logic...they are Yahshua's witnesses...which are granted "authority" from an "angel"..."my two witnesses?"

Is that how you see it?

Redd...:)

From my logic.

Their Lord was crucified.Yes,I believe their Lord who was crucified is Jesus.

Revelation 11:8

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified

Who do you believe was crucified?

The Lord of the two witnesses was crucified .So yes, we are talking about a crucification.

Revelation 11:8

Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Lord was crucified

Who do you believe their Lord is ,who was crucified?

Are you afraid to say his name or you don't know anyone that was crucified?

Revelation 11

11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

A question for you.  In verse 2 "and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months>"  Who is being referred to there ?.

What is the meaning of this verse, can you explain it ?.

The gentiles treading jerusalem.under foot for forty two months is the king of the norths armed forces.

Revelation 11:31

31 “His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

AKA

Revelation 13

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

The saints in Israel are imprisoned and murdered during those 42 months.

Think temple...the "holy ones" who were "measured" by the "rod like staff" and found worthy are in the most Holy Place vs.1...and those found "not" measuring up to the same standard of those in the most holy place...are the "tares, goats, 5 unwise virgins, those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, nations, heathens."

The close proximity of the "heathen" to the "holy" completes the picture of the temple being referred to in these passages.

I gave a brief overview in my first paragraph for you...for a bit more detail perhaps we can look at the word "temple" used in verse 1 & 2 for it is the same word. It is the word "naos" which is the area in the temple in which the Spirit of God actually dwells...His actual presence...the most holy place, holy of holies and by extension...the holy city.

The other word for temple is..."hieron"...refers specifically to the "outer" courts and to the "building" itself. So if one is in the temple but "outside" of the "naos" they are in the "hieron"

"Outside the temple" or outside the most holy place...is the area in this case where the "unholy" dwell...as I listed above...in the temple complex...they did not measure up to the standard of the "rod like staff" like those of vs. 1.

No...we were working on your challenge to me...I will quote you verbatim...

"If you show me where Jesus commands his witnesses to kill and torment other people ,then you can say I make things up."

This serves as a case in point Shiloh...not only do you just "make things up" you are scattered all over in the thoughts of your soul Shilosfoal.

An item of further note on vs. 1 & 2...they point us at the "identity" of the two witnesses...with more clarity made available in vs. 4 - 6 of course.

No need to guess...we need revelation from the mind of God...which He provides.

Yet,you still have not showed one verse where Jesus tells anyone to kill and torment people

You have not met the challenge.

I'm still waiting for you to post that quote of Jesus.
