Has Biden, Mayorkas, or any other official said why they refuse to enforce emigration law?

I read many speculations as to why laws are not being enforced, but has Biden, Mayorkas or any top government official ever given a reason for not enforcing our laws?  Even the current budget bill proposal where they want to allow lots of people into the USA,   is there an official reason being given?

Of course not, it might garner too much resistance, and even criminal prosecutions, if they did.

Drug trafficking, human trafficking pays well, as does oil supply manipulation.

According to them, they are obeying the laws, and everything is fine. Except that there are not enough immigration adjudicators to process all the immigrants fast enough, so they need more money for that.

They don't need to, their arrogance puts them above such things.  IMO they're just following orders anyway.
