Satan has sway of ALL the world systems and nations. And the Times of the Gentiles finishes when Jerusalem is surrounded by the world armies and Jesus deals with them. That is the final end of Gentiles ruling the world.

 From bible scripture, more accurately we should say church age instead of gentile age.

The Church Age is the period of time from Pentecost (Acts 2) to the rapture (foretold in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). It is called the Church Age because it covers the period in which the Church is on earth. It corresponds with the dispensation of Grace. In prophetic history, it falls between the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27; Romans 11). Jesus predicted the Church Age in Matthew 16:18 when He said, “I will build my church.” Jesus has kept His promise, and His Church has now been growing for almost 2,000 years.

The Church is composed of those individuals who have by faith accepted Christ Jesus as their Savior and Lord (John 1:12; Acts 9:31). Therefore, the Church is people rather than denominations or buildings. It is the Body of Christ of which He is the head (Ephesians 1:22-23). The Greek word ecclesia, translated “church,” means “a called-out assembly.” The Church is universal in scope but meets locally in smaller bodies.

The Church Age comprises the entire dispensation of Grace. “The law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). For the first time in history, God actually indwells His creatures, permanently and eternally. In other dispensations the Holy Spirit was always present and always at work, but He would come upon people temporarily (e.g., 1 Samuel 16:14). The Church Age is marked by the Holy Spirit’s permanent indwelling of His people (John 14:16).

Scripture makes a distinction between the nation of Israel and the Church (1 Corinthians 10:32). There is some overlap because, individually, many Jews believe in Jesus as their Messiah and are therefore part of the Church. But God’s covenants with the nation of Israel have not yet been fulfilled. Those promises await fulfillment  after the Church Age ends (Ezekiel 34; 37; 45; Jeremiah 30; 33; Matthew 19:28; Revelation 19).

The Church Age will end when God’s people are raptured out of the world and taken to be with the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:51-57). The rapture will be followed in heaven by the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:6-9) as the Church, the Bride of Christ, receives her heavenly reward. Until then, the Church carries on in hope, exhorted to “stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

John, thanks for your thoughts. I would like to respond to your verses later on this evening… obviously, it will differ from your view which DOES seem to reflect “today’s accepted interpretations.”

In verse 7:11, we find the 4th beast kingdom will be slain and its body is destroyed. This represents the 4th kingdom of Imperial Rome that was in place during and after the cross. 
 

But because of the “movements” that take place within the visions seen by Daniel, he now requests to know the truth about the 4th beast which was different than all the others. 

This 4th beast, which came  AFTER the 4th beast was slain and its body destroyed, now shows teeth of iron AND nails of bronze. Also, now the little horn AND the 10 horns are now sitting on the top of the beast where they WERE coming out of the beast (Imperial Rome). 
 

Meaning, this new 4th beast (to Daniel) was much different than the 4th beast in his first vision. 
 

So, here is the actual interpretation of these verses:

1) the 4th beast coming out of the sea is Imperial Rome,

2) after the cross, the 10 toes will now be described as 10 horns (powers). Meaning, they existed before the cross. 

3) the 10 horns are shown coming out of the 4th kingdom (after the cross),

4) the little horn is seen coming out of the 4th kingdom (after the Cross),

5) within 400 years, there will be the demise of Imperial Rome (4th beast kingdom),

6) it will be replaced by a new entity / beast that will be known as papal Rome, 

7) the little horn has now come to power (papacy) and will rule this new 4th beast kingdom,

8) now, the little horn sits atop the 4th beast kingdom and the 10 horns have also risen to the top of the 4th beast kingdom ruled by the little horn, 

9) therefore, papal Rome will replace Imperial Rome around 467 AD,

10) the little horn will pluck out 3 of the 10 horns which will now be know or described as 10 kings. And as any king, they must be obeyed… which is why they were able to rise to the top of this new 4th beast kingdom,

11) consequently, the 10 toes, the 10 horns or the 10 kings were in existence while in Imperial Rome (before the cross), Imperial Rome (after the cross), and all through the growth of the church before the demise of Imperial Rome and after the demise of Imperial Rome when papal Rome took full power. 
 

12) after papal Rome took full power, only then would they attempt to destroy the 3 of the 10 kings mentioned. 
 

The 10 toes, the 10 horns, the 10 kings represent God’s 10 commandments. The little horn will try and uproot the first 3 commandments of God. 
    1) they will remove any language within the first commandment that speaks of the “God of the Jews.” They / he will declare the pope is “God on earth,” clearly corrupting the first amendment, 

    2) they will literally remove the entire second commandment from God’s Word, 

    3) they will worship God in vain. In name only will they worship Him … they / he will corrupt God’s Word, His people, His church, bring in pagan practices and rituals, etc. He / they will declare tradition is greater than Scripture and the Magistrarum (teaching of the RCC) is also greater than the Scriptures. 
 

These verses are not about a new world order or 10 kings in the future. Symbolically, His people (clay in the feet) and the 10 toes (10 commandments) were kept under control within Imperial Rome until the time of the cross. 
 

The cross would break apart the iron and the clay within the feet and separate those of His people that would accept Him as their Messiah. They would go forth after the Cross WITH the 10 horns (10 commandments) and preach the Good News to the world. 
 

They would be well received and their power would transform the world. The little horn would gain control of this growing church and come to sit atop this 4th beast kingdom.
