If I wanted to rule the world…. What would I need?

I would need people to be dependent on me.  How would I make them need and want me?
I would be the provider of what they need, the basics of life.  Healthcare, food, income, a place to live,  social belonging, security, etc.

One way to accomplish this would be to make sure people don’t think for themselves.  They need to trust me and only me so I would need to ban history, thoughts or ideas that question me and my methods. The media would constantly present me as the benefactor, the one who has made life so wonderful by providing unity.

 People would need to love me or strongly fear me.  Love or fear can make people follow my directions.  The ones who love me will keep others in fear of being found out that they don’t love me.  The ones who don’t love me but fear me will be forced into compliance at the risk of severe punishment.  

When I see people who have no idea of what our Constitution says, what is in the Bill of Rights, what is in the Bible, what took place in history and how and why previous wars, atrocities took place… it enables me.  Because they don’t know truth, they only know what they are told and have lost the ability, desire to go back and read about those events.  READING is becoming a lost activity.  The literacy level around the world is going down, not up.  This helps me to delude them and keep them under my control.

People want a video, they want to be told.  People’s attention span can no longer endure the process of reading and waiting for the last chapter to find out something.  They want the cliff notes, they want to see and or be told the end.  With this kind of audience, it makes it easy to spoon feed the information I want them to have, to limit what they have access to and the knowledge they are allowed to have.  

I can control the world by making people droids, giving them dumb down drugs under the auspice of easing their anxiety.   I can administer comfort drugs in water, food, air or maybe even skin patches or implants.

 I can coddle the people and make them compliant and manageable by only giving them information and situations that make them feel good.   When things are bad, or punishment is given to keep people in line, they will not be informed of such bad news.  They will only be given information that will make them feel content.

They will be told that people who disagree are bad and should not be tolerated.  These people must be reported to authorities and their activities stopped at all costs.  Yes - to make a utopian world I will need to employ dystopian tactics.

All this translates into the characteristics of worldly empires and emperors. Fortunately the Word of God forewarns us of things to come and we press on.
