As we received the Good News and our lives have been transformed and we are full in christ we now as gods people have the duty upon our shoulders to share this Good News with the people who still live in the darkness.

Jesus ordered us to

Go therefore and make diciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all that i have commanded you Matthew 28:19-20

Take time to take yourself back to the point in your life when you were in the darkness. When the light did not shine, when your heart did not sing the lords praises and when you felt you had no purpose. Would you wish anyone to be in a position like that compared to the eternal blessed life you have now and forever. I don't know about you but i ddon't wish anyone to be without the holy presence of the lord in there lives. I have so much to thank our glorious lord for and i am honoured to be able to be free to share the amazing truth that christ jesus is alive and wants a relationship with every single precious child on this earth.

Yet there are so many occasions when i haven't taken up the opportunitys god has given me to share the Good News. To think i could of been a persons only chance of ever hearing the good News. Lets not take the chance that another christian will share it with them lets share it with them ourselves.

We have a duty to our lord and saviour and we need to put on our armour daily and let the lords love shine through us in all that we do. So that our actions are not marred by the devils schemes.

Ephesians 6:10-20 NLT

Wherever Paul went, he preached the Good News - to gentile audiences, to hostile jewish leaders and even to his Roman guards.

Whenever people believed in the message that Paul spoke, they were changed. What a power the lord put in Paul!

REMEMBER! : God's word is not just for our information, its for our transformation!!

We all know that becoming a christian means beginning a whole new relationship with God, not just turning over a new leaf or determining to do right. From the moment a new believer says yes to the lord they have a changed purpose, direction, attitude and behaviour. They are No Longer seeking to serve themselves but they are seeking to serve the lord and the lord only.

How is the Good News reaching others through your life?

Its not always easy to spread the good news to others when your not feeling too good about it yourself. But if we concentrate on doing our works for the Lord he promises to take care of the rest all we have to do is be faithful and he will keep his promises. And once we are filled with the lords power and the pure excitement of spreading the Good News you will find nothing else matters.

Just get into the presence of the Lord! Shout out your praises to the Lord! Open up your heart! Let him lead you where he wants you to be!

And surely enough if you are where the lord wants you to be the words of the lord will spill from your lips and the light will shine in that place and people will be saved!

Although it may be politically incorrect to say it, Christianity is not a private matter. The raison d'etre of a christian lifestyle is not merely about effecting social change or securing our own place in the afterlife. It is about Evangelism - Making Converts

How we go out and evangelise varies according to our gifts and our calling!

Many christians know the words from the childrens hymn that tells us to " shine like a little candle burning in a small, dark corner"

Simple as this hymn is it contains a profound truth people often miss. Jesus doesn't bid us to all blaze like a bonfire on a mountain peak! But he does want us all to be a bright spark wherever we happen to be..

Put another way, we are to be a light right where we do our living, working, playing and even our dying.

So, forget smuggling bibles into iraq. don't worry about single handedly rescuing the streets of brazil! i am far from saying that these are not things that need to be done. but Seriously, God will show you if he wants you to do something like that!

Whether he calls you to become a christian martyr or whether he asks you to live in quiet suburban comfort, you may be assured of one thing. When lived simply and sincerely the christian lifestyle will affect people for the good!

The holy spirit does the hard work when the opportunity presents itself. And make no mistake, when the right opportunities arise - at home or at work or anywhere we happen to be Gods power is released through our example.

His divine power has given us everyhing we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by our own glory and goodness 2 Peter 1:3 NIV

We may not all be called to be evangelists! Nevertheless, the christian faith is evangelistic!

Preach the gospel at all times by any means possible, IF neccessary, use words St Francis of Assisi

This is the essence of sharing the Good news and it happens naturally when our lifestyle conforms to biblical models.

All thats required is a sincere desire to do Gods will...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
