Guest inhim Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 regarding a "good person"....JESUS said that no one is good but GOD. we know that all have sinned, and there is none righteous (of his own capability) but we can have the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST, through the blood of our passover LAMB, AND if we walk according to the SPIRIT, we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. it is a wise christian that realizes as long as we are in the flesh, we are capable of the long list in galatians, the works of the flesh....but it is not inevitable at all. if we walk according to the SPIRIT, we will NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh.also, it is GOD who is at work in us to will and to do of HIS good pleasure, so HE will see that we abide in the vine and bring forth much fruit. that's what we have to look forward to.
