Ezek 39:17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

Ezekiel 38 and 39 outline how that day will go. Still there are other scriptures that refer to this event.

Thanks! I think we are real close to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 & 39. I believe that is what all this is leading up to. I have read some of the articles on that website (RaptureReady) and noticed that they are rethinking the timing of the rapture, that it may come after this war. Personally, I lean more towards post-trib, mainly because of what I believe the Lord is showing me through his word concerning these final events, but other than the timing of Christ's return, I feel that the RaptureReady website's articles are good and informative and their timeline seems pretty accurate. I enjoy reading the articles on there and on other websites. I like to get a well-rounded view of these final events from different perspectives. I don't like to debate pre-trib/post-trib, though. I'm just gathering information and checking it against what the Lord has been showing me and see how it adds up. This that you shared adds up.

I guess this really hurts me because I love the Jews...and consider them our brothers. It really hurts to see them destroy themselves by handing over what little land they have to these hateful predators.

And America is handing over millions of dollars so that 'palistine' can exist as a state, which means our tax dollars support Hamas. How crazy is that?

Our money will play a part in Israels demise, and maybe our own.

;) I think I'm gonna be sick.

Thank you so much! That was very helpful! May I ask another question, perhaps one that has already been discussed but I missed it? Besides the fact that the USA is selling weapons to Israel's enemies and the fact that we buy oil from Israel's enemies, what other role does the USA have in this whole removal of Israel from their land?

Sue, I am going to preface my response by saying that I love America!! I love my country, and would die to protect my freedoms. I believe in the Constitution of the United States and am true blue patriot!! So, what I am about to say is not America bashing, but is simply the honest truth. We are a great people, but we have erred where little Israel is concerned.

Many people are under the impression that "America supports Israel." This is true on paper, but not so much where the facts on the ground are concerned.

Going back even before Israel was reborn, did you know that the U.S. and Great Britain both prevented Jewish immigration to what was at the time, "Palestine" from Europe during the "Hitler years?" Many Jews tried to escape the Nazis by immigrating to Palestine, but the Arab world put up a fuss and threatened to cut off oil. Millions of Jews were stuck in Nazi occupied countries and were sacrificed for the sake of oil.

Even today, many of our dealings with Israel and our demands being placed upon the Jews living there are the product of our government having to protect its oil interests in that part of the world. Why is Israel prevented from doing what EVERY other nation would do if they were faced with the magnitude of danger that Israel faces??? Because the Arab world knows that it is not powerful enough to match Israel militarily. They use their influence in the area of oil, to get what they want. America, in order to placate the Arab world, and thus protect US oil interests, calls upon Israel to make insane concessions and compromises. Israel is strong-armed by the US to make compromises that the US would never make under similar conditions. Even today, many Jews have died needlessly because Israel has been told that they are to "show restraint." They are told not to respond to terrorist attacks. For years Arab terrorists strike with impunity, because Jews are being sacrificed on the altar of US oil interests.

Another way the US has been instrumental in wrecking Israel is with the "Road Map" for peace. It is the "Road Map" to Hell, if we were honest. This road map is chiefly of US design, but credit is also given the "quartet" of nations. This quartet interestingly includes United Nations, Russian Federation, the United States and the European Union. How is that a quartet??? That is the entire world!!! However, there was ONE nation that was not given any say-so as to how the road map should look. One nation in the entire world was not permitted to have ANY input whatsoever. I will give you three guesses who that nation is. If you guessed "Israel," you would be right. So far, everyone (US included) have been preaching to Israel about their obligations under the road map, and yet the first step in the road map belonged to the Palestinians, and no one has EVER held the Palestinian Authority to its obligations.

Under the Road Map, the Palestinian Authority was to dismantle all terrorist organizations operating in its jurisdiction. That was the first item on the Road Map. Not only did the terrorism escalate, but because the PA refused to keep its obligations, one of the very groups it was supposed to dismantle is now heading the Palestinian government!!! The election of Hamas is a violation of the Oslo Accords of 1993, and the US sponsored "Road Map."

One of the most horrific land give-aways, was the Sinai give-away engineered by Jimmy Carter. During the Yom Kippur war, Israel not only defeated the Egyptians but pushed the Egyptian Army back across the Sinai and all the way back into Egypt to within 40 miles of Cairo. Had the UN not called for a cease fire, Israel could have captured Cairo, the Capital of Egypt. Israel grew in size by 74% with their recapture of the Sinai Peninsula. In order to promote peace with Egypt, President Carter convinced Menachem Begin to relinquish the Sinai back to Egypt.

Israel lost an incredible amount of benefits by leaving the Sinai. First of all, Israel lost "Yamit," a Jewish town in the Sinai. 7,000 Israelis were forcibly removed from their homes by Israeli soldiers and the town of Yamit was razed to the ground by the Israeli army. Sound familiar?? Israel lost $17 billion in infrastructure. They lost several air bases, and early warning stations that Israel needed to prevent any further attacks from the East. Israel also lost oil fields that they had developed. Because of the loss of these oil fields, Israel lost the opportunity to become energy independent. Currently, Israel spends more on importing oil than they receive in foreign aid from the United States.

Don't even get me started on US support and encouragement of the recent, insane withdraw from Gaza. Israel is spending many times more $$ to guard around Gaza, than it spent guarding the Jewish towns like Gush Katif.

I could go on, but I think you get the picture. The US "supports" Israel because Israel is a strategic bargain. We send $3 billion a year on average to Israel, but we get more in return. Not only does Israel return almost half of that aid to us in the form of weapons sales, but Israel's military operation in conjunction with the US has saved the United States between $50 billion to $80 billion in intelligence, research and development, the capture of Soviet weapons systems during the cold war.

Aid to Israel will never be cut off. This is not because of any moral compass in our government, but because Israel is such a bargain. Besides, the weapons manufacturers will make sure their representatives in congress will oppose any cuts in weapons sales. Frankly, I wish Israel would voluntarily cut itself off of American foreign aid. They don't need our money anyway. Israel's current Gross Domestic Product sits $150 billion. The $3 billion they get from us amounts to 2% of their GDP. American aid cannot be deemed indispensable to Israel's survival. The idea that Israel needs America to survive is a myth.

Shiloh,

Wow! Thanks so much!! You really have helped to put the pieces together for me. I have read bits and pieces of this over the years, but I was missing a lot of pieces, too. I never used to follow that kind of stuff much, because I did not think I could understand it. I was convinced that my brain could not comprehend world events for some reason. But, over the past several years I have been reading and watching and evaluating what is going on in the world. Sometimes it frustrates me because I wish I knew more. I wish I understood more. My husband helps a lot, because he picks up on stuff right away once he hears it. If I don't understand something I read here, he explains it to me. I'm not stupid. I have a 4.0 GPA in collge after being away from school for 30+ years, but government, history, the sciences, etc. have never been my strong suit. But, I am learning, and I appreciate so much that you took the time to answer my questions. This is helping!

I understand what you mean about the USA. I feel the same way. I kind of compare it to a marriage. I love my husband. I am committed to him 100%, but that does not mean I agree with everything he does or that he agrees with everything I do. If I could choose my husband all over again, I would choose him again - the same with my kids, and I don't always agree with stuff they do, either. It's like being a part of a big family. America is a family. Our parents are messing up big time in some areas and we wish they would get it straight, but they are still our family. Some people think it has to be all black or all white - either you are for Bush or against him, but I think that "all for or all against" only applies to God. He is the only perfect one and the only one for which I can feel that kind of absolute trust. I don't think we should ever close our eyes to what is going on in our country, in our homes, in our families or in our marriages. We are human, and as humans we fail. We all need accountability. It sounds like America needs a giant dose of accountability right now.

Again, thanks so much for all the information. It is nice to know someone as smart and as educated as you. God bless!

Shiloh,

I agree this post is by far one of the best teaching "non study" posts that I have seen here in a long time! Thanks !

Can anybody explain to me ...why in the world the Jewish Prime Minister is giving away more Jewish land to these same people?

I must be dumber than dirt because the leaders of the Jews are handing over their lands to people who want to destroy them and take all of their land.

I guess I'm just too lame to "get it"....

Palestine the earth of the Palestinians "only" Palestinians Jewish, the Christian Palestinians and the Muslims Palestinians , not the European Jewish, the Jewish occupied Palestine like Nazi when they occupied Europe.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
