Ok, then maybe you can help me understand something. If this is so, then that means after Christ returns, and we meet him in the air and we get glorified bodies and there is the final battle (I think that is the order) and we have the final judgment then we reign with him for 1000 years, right? Will it be all believers or just those who survived the tribulation? If all, are we going to be married and have kids? It sounds like that. Will we do this with glorified bodies? Will all the babies who have been aborted be there and will they grow up? I've never understood this and I don't think anyone has ever ventured there much to try to explain it. Will there be non-believers there who survived the tribulation? Is that who we will rule over? So we would have glorified bodies but they would be normal humans? Will we really be building houses and living in them and working like we work now? How will it be different? So, the "never be married or given in marriage in heaven" does not apply to these 1000 years? So, what about the people who have already been with Jesus? Is this one of the great mysteries of the Bible? You don't hear too many sermons on this subject. I don't think I've ever sat through a Bible study on it, either, and I was raised in the same denomination as you, Trinity. We talked a lot about the Lord's return, but there was always this feeling of just being with the Lord forever in heaven, and no one talks much at all about the 1000 years. What do you make of it?

Um... You see, this is where Theologized Doctrine come in to play... I find that the post-trib view has difficulties with this, that is why you probably haven't heard it explained before. this verse is one of the main reasons why i left the Post-trib stance, Besides that i was already on the edge it pushed me over when they didn't have an answere for that verse, or a refute for the other reasons.

But if you would like to hear my answere i am more then willing to share :whistling:

If not then its ok too

Sure, I would love to hear your view. I am not die-hard anything when it comes to things that can have so many different interpretations. I only believe post-trib because of things that the Lord has shown me through his word about that time, but then I don't understand everything he has shown me, either. I'm always learning and I love to hear different viewpoints. I'm not going to debate with you. I'd just like to read your opinion and then compare it to other things I have learned and then see if it adds up for me. So, please feel free to share. I'm listening.

Just what i wanted to hear, i didn't want to debate either :whistling: I am not die-hard anything i just lean towards Pre trib

I believe that the Rapture will come first, then those who become saved during the Tribulation will be the those who enter into the Millennial Kingdom and populate the Earth.

Only a few will enter into the millennial kingdom according to the book of Revelation when you equal out how many times it says how many people will die it comes out to 1 out of 7 people will live to the end-(Armageddon) counting all believers and non-believers.

and we have the final judgment then we reign with him for 1000 years, right?

Yes, we have the final Judgment, but at the Final Judgment there are two groups.

A.) Those who judge, and those who watch the judging on different thrones. You know what we are? Those who judge, as you just clarified.

B.) Those others who don

Trinity,

I have another question, then. If only those who were saved during the tribulation reign with Christ during the 1000 years, then where are the rest of us? If we are supposed to be with Christ forever, then how will we be with Christ if he's here reigning with those who were saved out of the tribulation?

You know that verse that says that when Christ comes back that those who have gone on before will be raised first and then those who are alive and remain will be caught up with him in the air and then we shall ever be with the Lord. That is talking about all of us. So, how can some be here reigning with him and others of us be some place else if we are all joined together with him at his second coming?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
