The Gospel and the Internet

The Internet was created for one primary purpose: to take the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ to all the world. Of course, like anything else created by God, it can be misused by the devil.

We all know that the devil has used the Internet to spread pornography as well as myriads of "lies" to the world. But the devil didn't create the Internet. The devil creates nothing as all he can do is pervert it's intended use.

That's why Jesus told His followers to "continue ye in my word and ye shall be my servants indeed".

John 8

31: Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

It's not just a matter of knowing the Lord. It's a matter of "continuing in His Word", "abiding in Him", and "His Word abiding in us". We must obey Him and His Word to us individually as well as corporately. That is what sets us free from deception and what ensures that we don't misuse anything in this world.

Colossians 1

16: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

John 1

10: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11: He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Matthew 24

14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The time for restoration to the Church is come. The Body of Christ is maturing in Him.

Ephesians 4

13: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

The Gospel is being preached all across the world. Everyone on earth will have the opportunity for salvation through Jesus Christ before He returns. And also before Jesus returns, His Bride, the Church (the Body of Christ) will have made herself ready for Him.

Soon we shall all know as we are known. Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us and He will come to get us so that where He is we will be also.

I. Corinthians 13

12: For now we see through a glass (mirror), darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Let's all prepare our hearts: the latter house shall be greater than the former.

Haggai 2

9: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

James 5

7: Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain

What a wise reminder that we can either bless G~D or sin against Him. A few years ago, G~D placed a burden on my heart to contact Campus Crusade 4 Christ (Evangelism Toobox) to prayerfully consider E_cards and biblical scriptural topics to witness to people of various seasons in their lives. After alot of attack from the enemy, too numerous to describe, and then G~D's blessing, it became a reality in about Spring of 2000! Also, Praise G~D that I was able to share Jesus with my sister who lives in Saudi Arabia via e-mail. Impossible with US postal mail, which came back undeliverable because the Saudi government censored my mail. She rejected Jesus, thus far, but at least the email message was delivered, and G~D can do the work in her heart I continue to pray. Yes, lets all allow G~D to prepare our hearts to use the internet to bless G~d for His purpose and glory. Amen!

Yes, I agree. God created everything even if He did use Al Gore or anyone else to put the parts together!

I'm not very technically minded and so much of the language is way out of my sight. I was so frustrated when I first got my computer and on the web. Nothing worked right. I will put a couple testimonies on the general forum as to how God used a little robin to teach me!

For a couple days I had a non-viral notice when I scanned the anti-viral program. I could not get it off by quaranteeing it or deleting. I don't use the right terms to explain what was wrong and how I got there. So last night I prayed and reminded God that He was the inventor of the

complicated machine. So it was up to Him to fix it for I just can't. That is if He wanted me to continue writing His Word for all the world to read.

I got up this morning and everything was O.K.!

Yes, it is a wonderful way to preach to all the world. Many years ago I was at a woman's retreat. While waiting for teh service to begin. I opened my Bible to Jeremiah 1:4-10. He told Jeremiah that He appointed him to be a prophet to all the nations and to quit saying he was just a child etc. I was insecure most of my life. I felt like a child. People intimidated me. But I knew without a doubt that God was telling me the same. I got Holy Ghost bumps when I read it.

How was it possible for a little mouse like me to stand before a crowd of people and preach salvation in foreign countries. I only know English. In 1994 God let me know I would be on the web writing my testimonies. It was 6 years before I even got the computer. I wrote an article about the miracle way I got the money to buy it. I'll put that on the testimony forum.

With this invention I can sit in a comfortable chair almost all day long. I am retired and stuck in a little town with no transportation. In the 6 years God could sit me down and chastise me for some of the things I had done that He wasn't pleased with. I couldn't go anywhere away from Him.

It still amazes me what I can do on this machine. A woman wrote to me from Korea. I was so surprised that when the email came to me, they said it was being translated into English (as I blinked my eyes!) When I wrote to her, it was translated into Korean!.

I am being a prophet to all nations. Prophet is one who is an inspired preacher or teacher or writer. That is the only way I can write---when I am inspired.

God had everything planned from day 1. More exciting unexpected things keep happening in my life. Right now I am getting very sleepy so>>>>>>>
