Christians often know a great deal about Islam, more than about most religions, and believe that they understand Islam well enough. They have no particular antipathy to any religion, or to any members of any religion. They believe that Christ loves all, and died for the sins of the whole world, and that all, irrespective of religion or non-religion, need to recognise that if they are to be empowered to live as God wants, and to obtain eternal life. Actually, I think the antipathy comes not from a misunderstanding of islam, but more from being blown up and kidnapped by it's followers. Thus, perhaps a modern day version of the proverb could read as such: "Man is the enemy of what blows him up, cuts off his head, or kidnaps him" Perhaps you have a point, though. Maybe there is a bit of misunderstanding out there. Y' see, we keep hearing that islam is a peaceful religion, but what we see in practice, at least by the leaders of the countries which are adherents to islam, is quite a different story altogether. Define it very briefly . I honestly know a lot of islam, so defining it briefly isn't possible for me. But I can see the goverments under Islam with hate in their minds and eyes, I can see what they have grown to believe, I can see the hate towars the Jews, I can what they believe in, enough that I cry for them and how they have been tricked, will post more insight later on.
