I obtained these from: "The Navigator Bible Studies Handbook" General Principles 1. As you study, work knowing that the Bible is authoritative 2. Let the Bible interpret itself (Scripture explains Scripture). 3. The Holy Spirit

I remember a quote saying that "theology is not a parlor game, but analogous to rock climbing--certain cliffs and routes are too difficult for the inexperienced, whose ill-advised traverse often leads to tragedy." Amen. All interpretations are not equal. While the great teachers of the Bible in the history of the church are neither inerrant nor infallable, their wisdom and abilities are of great value to all and we dismiss them to our folly. Discarding history for the latest fads has become too prevalent this day. sw A.W. Tozer... Been wondering if anyone has advise about witnessing to others who are clearly in the wrong faith... Thought about a Q.&A website, to so to say.... play an intriguing game of testing ones knowlege, to sort of have fun, yet get them clear about the word at the same time, any suggestions? By the way... countenance'the name, no soul left behind, is the game!!! Re: your thought on a Q & A website for others 'clearly in the wrong faith'. This has been much on my mind lately with all the talk of muslim extremists and so forth. I'm going to ponder and pray on this. I don't know how to create a web site but i do have a server and could devote some time. Things that make you go hmmmmm !!!

If a passage implies a truth, it may only be considered Biblical if related passages support the truth (Hebrews 6). Excellent point. This goes along with the fact that every important truth is confirmed by repetition

Joseph Smith wrote extensively also and created the Mormon Church. The Bible all versions, The Quran and many other volumes of various names were written based on the truth of the first five books of the Torah. The people you mention here, including Islam, are all heretics, though. So maybe the Bible isn't as "simple" as you think it is. Maybe it requires divine intervention to understand and adhere to. That, my friend, is not an easy task.
